This assignment I chose to do is called May I Take Your Order? where you must create a recording of yourself ordering something off of the menu at McDonald’s in a foreign accent while also being very picky. I chose to do the Big Mac Meal because it was the first thing that popped into my mind. I recorded this using my iPhone, and when doing so, I was shooting for a British accent. However, it ending up being to what I think is somewhere between a British accent and an Indian accent. I was very picky and weird with things like no middle bun, and half cut tea with lemons and lemonade. Overall, this assignment was a lot of fun, and it gave me a lot of laughs, so listen to it below, and enjoy!

First off, I am very embarrassed that you get to hear my HORRENDOUS English accent. But in all honesty, I had a full-on blast with this audio assignment!

The object of this assignment was to record yourself ordering a meal, not on the menu of McDonald’s with an accent of some kind. And I loved this creative idea of a recording so I went all out!

The recording is of a conversion between a cranky McDonalds employee and a British customer. My roommate Stella helped me with this assignment by playing the employee and I recorded myself using a disgusting British accent.

If you listened to the recording you’re probably wondering what McDLT is. The McDLT was introduced in 1984 and stands for a McDonald’s Lettuce and Tomato. I had no idea that McDonalds made their own version of a BLT. But hopefully, you enjoyed that little 80s reference. As well as the ice cube nonsense!

For this assignment, I ordered very well cooked chicken nuggets at McDonalds. I tried my hand at an English accent, it’s definitely not good, but it’s funny!! I used my phone to create the audio, and then I just downloaded it onto soundcloud. This assignment was 2 stars.

I tried to do an Aussie accent but it didn’t exactly stay that way…

This Assignment is worth 2 stars. It is AudioAssignments2004. I had to create the we will rock you beat from the artist queen in a creative way. I used a paper cup and my breathing to create the beat. 

This assignment is worth 3 and a half stars. It is AudioAssignments1901. I had to do a country accent. I decided to tell a story of me trying to find my car in the parking deck and then converted the video to an mp3 and put it on sound cloud. 

This assignment is worth 3 stars. I had to make a beat using house hold items. I used my backpack and a large book from one of my history classes. This assignment was AudioAssignments1880.

My final assignment was worth 1 and half stars. I had to order in a foreign accent. I once again used my boyfriend to help. He played  the McDonald’s worker and I was the person ordering. I had an English accent and he had an African.
