One of this weeks assignments that I completed was called, “Seven Deadly Sins, Barbie Style.” The instructions were to, “Grab your old Barbies, grab your child’s, buy a new one, or go to GoodWill or something.  Then, take a picture of a scene with 1 or more Barbies demonstrating one of the Seven Deadly Sins: Lust, Greed, Wrath, Sloth, Gluttony, Pride, and Envy.”

Because I didn’t feel like getting out of bed, or buying a Barbie, or anything of the sorts I decided to be a lazy piece of fuck and just photoshop Barbie into the seven scenes. Initially I thought this would just be easier than actually stepping foot outside my bedroom, but no. Photoshop is hard man.

So here is my version of the assignment:

Surprise surprise, Emily knows nothing about things from the bible. So I had to use wikipedia to explain to me what each of the deadly sins meant. After educating myself I found various versions of barbies online and the scene in which I wanted to photoshop them into. I used the free online version of photoshop to do this. I used the clone stamp tool, the layer mask tool, the layering tool, and lots of googling to help me create theses sins.
