Make a recording about your idols in the aesthetic of Saul Williams, Jessica Care Moore, and muMs da Schemer. Its more about form than content. Saul Williams does this great stream of names at the end of this live performance of DNA/Coded Language. His cadence and rhythm transmit his respect for these names with intensity and thoughtfulness. If you want to extend your performance,  that’s great, this assignment’s about speaking your mind. And yeah, the example is a video, but the assignment is audio, this should make it easier for you to do multiple takes in order to get it right.
