Product Review

_cokwr: This one is simple. Just find something around the house that you enjoy using, find helpful on a day-to-day basis, or even something that you own but don't find worth the money you payed for it. Once you have your item, record yourself giving a product review. Be thorough, don't just skim the surface with general comments. Show us how the item works, what it's used for, what it's features are, what you think of it, etc., _cpzh4: Video, _cre1l: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LW9IQou5xkA, _chk2m: Joe Proffitt, _ciyn3: 154, _ckd7g: , _clrrx: , _cztg3:

Speed Up Your Work Day

Take video of yourself doing what you typically do on an average work day, and then speed it up! Start with at least 30 minutes of footage at a minimum, so as to get a good amount of video to share. Challenge yourself to complete the assignment in one single shot, then speed it up to ridiculous speeds, and toss in some music that fits the mood., _cpzh4: Video, _cre1l: http://vimeo.com/26491808, _chk2m: Ben Rimes, _ciyn3: 155, _ckd7g: , _clrrx: , _cztg3:

Lyric Video Snippet

_cokwr: Take a short section of one of your favorite songs, and turn the song into a music video using only lyrics. The lyrics video will manipulate the size, color, font, shape, and movement of the lyrics showing on the screen to emphasize a theme, rhythm, pattern, meaning, or musical mechanism of the song. , _cpzh4: Video, _cre1l: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OehxXNCYvTM, _chk2m: Chriisb123, _ciyn3: 121, _ckd7g: , _clrrx: , _cztg3:

News on the March

_cokwr: Create a 30's/40's-style newsreel about anything at all. Just make sure it's heavy on the propaganda feel., _cpzh4: Video, _cre1l: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kfuJfC3Tw_0, _chk2m: Alan Liddell, _ciyn3: 153, _ckd7g: , _clrrx: , _cztg3:

Vision of the future

What will life be like when apps such as Layar or Google Goggles are no longer applications in a handheld device, but hardwired into our brains? Layer some 'augmented' reality style effects on top of the video in an attempt to show what life will be like once we are cybernetically linked to technologies such as Layar or Google Goggles. It could be like the view that the Terminator sees through his robotic eyes, or something more down to earth like a price comparison app that appears as you do your shopping. Make it funny, make it serious or speculate about how this technology might be used for good or bad. Check out an example here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9MeaaCwBW28
