Create your own story line

This assignment helps take your writing skills to a new level. Pick any secret agent and create an alternate story line for that character. You could take an agent like James Bond and give him a whole new background of give him a new mission to complete. You could even take two secret agent characters who normally don’t go together and make them cross paths while they are doing their missions. It is up to you where this assignment takes you as long as the story line doesn’t already exist.

sixteen year old me

This is a video of me speaking to my younger self.

Emotional lyrics

Choose an emotion (happy, sad, excited, hyper, sleepy, suprised, inspired, ect..) and then choose three songs that elect that emotion. Name emotion, the song, and why it makes you feel that way. This can be done in three seperate tweets to allow for character count. Have fun with this!

How does a song make you feel?

Choose a song that elects a cetrain feeling within you. Copy the youtube/soundcloud URL to a Twitter post, and tell us what feelings this sond brings you. Does it make you happy? sad? pumped? seductive? strong? let us know youre feelings while listening to the song! You can add things such ” at :23 seconds, the hook dropped and it made me want to flail my arms arond and scream”. Have fun with this!!

Audio & Music Video mashup

For this assignment take a music video and mash it with a new song. Replace the audio to a music video with another song. Try to get them to fit together as best as you can.

Character Evolution

It’s not unheard of for our favorite films to be remaid or redone, and characters to evolve and change during each remake (such as every Snow White / Disney princes movie). For this assignment, mashup clips of one character from several different remaid movies, showing the evolution of the character through films, creating a 2-3 minute video.

Photo Mash

Take 2 actors and mash them together into one photo. You can use Photoshop or Pixlr to do this. Make sure that they look like they belong in their setting and they look like they were actually together when the photo was taken (the colors match, the sizing is right, etc). Have fun with it!

2 Minute silent documentary

This was inspired from the 30 second documentary assignment. The object is to make a documentary showing how to do something. Wether that’s how to make something, what your/a job is like, trying something new, showing yourself doing something you are terrible at or even really good at (again, the same idead from the 30 second video but longer for those who have something more complex to share).

Make sure your video has an into “photo” or wording and a credit or statement at the end wrapping the video up. Remember to stay true to the original assignment link and keep it silent. SHOW how to do it. Don’t TELL. And have fun! (:
