In this gif A man of the highest rank soon finds that rank is not everything, as he grows older he is cast aside and left no longer among the ranks.  Life was cruel and he believed he had been taught all there is to know about the world and about the life he was given.  He started a new life for himself, earning money with the skills he was taught in the military and learning science from the contacts he gained while in service.  He was ready to leave the world he knew to live one of solitude where he would not be bothered, and were life’s cruel lessons could bother him no more.  He was aging and thought himself to be at the tail end of life’s game.  Little did he know he was only at the beginning and he still was a young boy with much knowledge to absorb and pass on.  He would learn to accept that life always had more lessons and that an old dog can learn new tricks.

Again I used Piskel.  I would go frame by frame, duplicating the image each time the main body had to be changed.
