For my last assignment from the audio assignment bank, I chose Roller Coaster Freaks for 2.5 stars. I got really into this one!! I layered 6 different audio clips until I was happy. I used freesounds.org for my audio and audacity to edit the clips. I used a clip of someone’s roller coaster ride throughout the whole audio, then layered a nervous laugh, some screams, a woman begging, and a woman sobbing over it. I only used bits and pieces of all of my “extra” clips and put fading effects on the main clip. Welcome to a roller coaster ride with a (very nervous/terrified) newbie!

For this assignment, we had to find different sound effects and voices to help recreate what a roller coaster sounds like.

To complete this assignment, I first found several different sound effects and voices from freesounds.org, and uploaded them into Audacity. I then edited them to make the final product, and uploaded it to SoundCloud.

I thought that this assignment was effective because the noises that I added, on top of the roller coaster in the background, help make it feel like you are really there and listening to these sounds in person. It also really makes me want to ride this roller coaster!

Imagin you are riding a roller coaster and sitting in the middle of the cart and with two people you have never met before. What you you imagin each one is saying/doing.

Show whither they are scared, enjoying it, acting wierd, screaming, etc. Record voices and apply sound tracks and upload it to Soundcloud.
