In thinking about this assignment I wanted to convey or at least represent an aspect of the wire in a creative fashion. The intro scenes during episode 9 of Season 2 of The Wire. I will give you a hint it has a lot to do with lyrics and what comes before each Wire episode!

In thinking about this assignment for my DS106 course and our analysis on The Wire characters I thought about the episodes we watched this week on episodes 10 & 11 which illustrated the rapid demise of corrupt Treasurer and dock worker Frank Sobotka.

For this particular assignment, I choose to do the character McNulty from The Wire. I used photoshop to accomplish this task as well as a host of other tools found inside of the software. This was a learning process and I think I am happy with the end result.

So this idea came to me pretty quick, I thought hey why not do the name of my site look like they were on fire since it had word burning in it and ended up using photoshop for the whole process. Then the background I used a picture I took over the summmer.
