DS106 Cartoon the Head!

I chose the assignment which is Cartoon the Head! The assignment requires ”Take any person, thing, or animal and apply a cartoon character head to it. Be creative!” I do not know the my picture is creative, but I did this assignment.

I used the Aviary again. I took the Luffy‘s picture from the website. And another picture come from my photo album. And I cut the Luffy’s picture along the face line, and I added to Tokyo tower.

I used Tokyo tower and Luffy. Luffy is a characor in “One Pieace“. First, I still think Tokyo tower is symbol of Tokyo and Luffy is symbol of current Japanese animation. Therefore I corroborate with tokyo tower and Luffy. Nowadays, the animation is read by elementary school to over the 50 age people because the story is really good. If someone do not know or never read it, you should read. You will learn a lot of things from the animation.

The assignment Cartoon The Head requires a Person, or thing’s head replaced with a cartoon. Simple.

I flipped Squidward’s photo and cropped out his head. I earased the back of his head and use the eyedrop and paint brush tool to blend in Squidward’s head and Edwards hair line.

An animal that I do not want meet in the ocean

This work is for “Cartoon the head” in DesignAssignments.

I don't want meet it when I swim in the ocean

I put the face of Kunfu Panda on an orca’s body.

I needed to enlarge and rotate the face to fit the body.

The original color of the panda’s face was much darker than the orca’s body.

After putting the face on a different layer, I adjusted the color and brightness of the face.

Orca’s white spot above its eye looked unnecessary, it needed to be painted by black.

Assignment 5 – Design Assignment- Cartoon Head

For this assignment, I took a photo of my cat mr dimples, and pasted the head of Tom, from Tom and Jerry. I used iPhone app “Iswap” saved to album, then opened up to another app “Juxtoposer” to do a better blending of the two photos. I saved photos again in album, then opened up in “photo studio” app to crop and border.

“2 STAR” Design Assigment #1 “CARTOON THE HEAD”

This Design Assignment is called “Cartoon the Head” , for this assignment I had to find a image of an animal and a cartoon and paste the cartoon’s image on top of the animals face as if that was the cartoon’s actual body. For my character I chose Bart Simpson from the cartoon show called “The Simpson’s”. I chose Bart because he is my favorite cartoon character on the show and I think the facial expression he has in this picture best suites the body image of a camel. The reason I chose a camel was because I think they have such a bizarre and funny shape that would look great on Bart Simpson LOL !! The process on completing this design assignment was very simple. As I stated in my other posts I simply just used www.pixlr.com, and imported the images which I saved on my desktop. Next, I used the “lasso tool” to trace the section of Bart’s face that I wanted to paste on top of the Camel’s face. After that, I used the paste button from the edit tab and placed Bart’s face on top of the Camel’s face. Finally, I used the arrow tool to arrange the face in the right position that I wanted it to be in.
