Culture is defined as the quality in a person or society that arises from a concern for what is regarded as excellent in arts, letters, manners,scholarly pursuits, etc. Coming from a very cultural background…this assignment was more of a reflection/appreciation of what I have, because not everyone can say that they have a culture. I thought the design assignment What is culture for you? was a pretty cool assignment. It was worth 2 stars. This photo shows from what culture I came from. I downloaded the afghan girl photo from Google and I draw the Afghanistan map. Then I edited the girl’s photo to fit as the exact shape of the map. On the other hand, I wrote Afghan in Persian language to reflect more about the culture. for editting process I used GIMP and Paint.

2. Design Assignment “What is culture for you??” I created the ds106 assignment what is culture for you?? And this is an example of the assignment. I put pictures which relates culture into one scratch paper by Aviary. 1, Samurai 2. Samurai(Kanji) These pictures come from Google pictures I mixed up with these two.
