I was in the middle of this assignment when I came up with my idea of new design assignment, and I just submitted my idea. So where were we… Designment Assignment 54: Create an iconic image/design for your own site that somehow represents you. I often use the handle “linda3dots” for my online activities. I came up with this icon for this assignment: I used Photoshop CS4. Brush tool, ellipse tool, and also added an inner shadow via “fx” in layers.

The assignment was to create an image of something that represents me. I am definitely a book worm, so I chose glasses as my icon. I used an icon from NounProject and Microsoft Word. I pasted the image into a Word document and used the text overlap option. I typed words like “books” and “literature” over the image until the words created the image.

You can’t really say it’s an iconic picture but at least it’s me. I just played around here with a few different programs here such as picnik, photoshop and wordfoto.
