Basically, I went to this Website and “designed” myself as a zombie. I can see his point though, as all it took were uploading a photo and toying around with some zombie effects and overlaying them onto my photo. Needless to say though, I had fun with it, and I think I make a badass zombie.
I used the the zombify program to edit a picture of myself into a zombie. I had fun going through each type of zombie eyes, mouth, noses, skins, etc. and picking what I thought worked best.
I bring to you…
and of course, everyone’s favorite….PUMPKIN SPICE LATTES!!!
Wait, seriously? That’s what time of year it is? (Well, yes, but..)HELL NO!!!!
It’s time for zombies, guts, and horror!
Check this out:
The Walking Dead returns to AMC on October 14 at 9p! YES I CANNOT WAIT!!!
and
Paranormal Activity 4!! Saw a preview on TV the other day, sweeeeeet!
But that’s not why I brought you all here, we have DS106 Week 6! Also known as Design week, and I chose to turn myself into a ZOMBIE!
Haha, YES! And this was sooooo simple! What a great way to start my design week. And, if you go to the site which is recommended, you may get a laugh at the fact that it is still advertising Zombieland! (On a side note, Emma Stone is a TOTAL babe) This assignment could not have came at a better time of year!
2 stars down, 13 to go!

As I was searching through the Design Assignment Repository, I cam across one that looked a bit gruesome. It’s not my normal taste, but in honor of the upcoming Halloween celebrations I decided to do it. You take a picture, then zombify yourself. I looked at some of the examples and wasn’t thrilled with it but decided to venture out of my comfort zone. It looked pretty simple. It had a website that you went on and made the whole process pretty simple. I had you trace the outline of your face, then you went through different parts and added them to your face.
The picture I chose was one that was meant to be ironic. I am in Hawaii enjoying a strawberry daquiri. I don’t think that’s something zombies do frequently. I tried many of the extras on the website, but finally came up with this combination that I think fit the setting. The website also had a place where you could play with color and contrast so I decided to change the coloring a bit to give it more of a creepy feel. ‘
^^Alive me
^^Dead me
My new Halloween costume idea..pretty cute, right?
