Haiku for You

Took on a Haiku Recipe assignment worth 2 stars. I felt pretty good about this one because I decided to go very simple but stick to the shortness and syllabus of an actual traditional Haiku. I chose the first comfort food I could think of that would also lend itself to a short recipe. So naturally a Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwhich. I also looked through other peoples examples to make sure I was not just going off of what other people had already done.

Here is my recipe:

Place bread on table

Spread jam and peanut butter

Put together, eat

Potato Pancakes

A 2-star multi-taskory assignment: Record a small snippet of audio of you trying to accomplish two or more tasks at the same time that are difficult for you. Imagine the old “pat your head and rub your tummy” only with two tasks that can come across well with audio.

I recorded this on my phone so I was not just trying to cook and prepare breakfast but hold my phone while doing those things.  I burned a couple of the potato things but it was still quite yummy.

The Assignment:

Revamp your WordPress Banner.

The Process:

I first gathered six photos I have taken of dishes I’ve eaten. Next, I opened Photoshop and made a blank canvas of the exact pixels (960Wx260H). I then resized all the photos to fit onto the banner. After, I feathered  the edges of the photos and arranged them on the blank canvas.

The Story:

My name is NOMNOMreeses for a reason- I love food! I enjoy fine dining and love to try new and unique dishes. For this banner design, I decided I wanted to share some of the beautiful and delicious dishes I’ve had recently. This new banner is fresh and and fun! I feel it reflects my name wonderfully. : )

It looks so yummy too…
