I kinda procrastinated on this one, so I took my plaid scarf off that I wore that day and balled it up and took a picture of it with my dumb phone. There honestly is no inspiration to this one but “get it dooone!” Again, this one was two stars.

Anywho, after I emailed the picture to myself I opened up my buddy Gimp. Then I pretty much closed my eyes and slide the color balance things around and hoped for the best. I kinda like it. The white and the saturation is a little too much though. Oh wellll. I kinda like it.

Cooper wants a cheezburger

This is my submission for ds106 visual assignment “What’s the Meme?”.  I call it “Cooper wants a cheezburger”.  I am a huge fan of lolcats and thought why not get my own pets into the action?  While I was trying to complete yesterday’s Daily Create, Cooper decided he wanted to help out…and help he did!  I cropped and added text to the photo in Photoshop Elements.  In case you don’t know how to get the font right, let me share what I learned today.  The font is called Impact.  The black outline is created by:

1)Selecting the “Layer” menu option

2)Selecting “Layer Style”

3)Selecting “Style Settings”

4)Choosing the “Stroke” option

Once you have selected “Stroke”, you can make the outline thicker by increasing the px size.  There are websites where you can do the same thing, but I wanted to know how to do it myself!

Might have to get Cooper that cheezburger, although I think he might prefer chikin :)
