I watched IT a couple of weeks ago and the last nightmare I had was him floating around with his red balloons.
I had a dream that Michelle Obama was walking into UMW campus and talking to me. It was a wonderful dream. I took this photo when Michelle Obama was in UMW and there was an artist who had this art. Background of the photo is UMW‘s campus, near Secobeck. I used paint for selection and then I edited with the Microsoft office photo editing software. I really enjoyed putting my dream into visualization, it was fun.

I usually don’t remember my dreams but I occasionally have ‘falling dreams’ I have a sensation of falling, then I wake up just as I hit the bottom, sometimes it feels as though I did in fact fall.
The assignment I chose to do today prompts us to–
Take a recent dream or nightmare you’ve had and make a visual representation of it for others to see.
This is actually not based on my dream, but one that a friend had about me.
The process was time-consuming, but I had fun doing it. First, I painted the purple/red background color and drew the words “Insert sky here.” Then I took a picture of that, and did the rest on my computer–layering some geometric shapes, and adding the final text–I chose to do this because I wanted a computer font to contrast with the childish-looking painted lettering.
While it didn’t turn out exactly like I had envisioned, I had a lot of fun making this project, and would like to try it again in the future.
This is for the assignment Dream Visualization
so this literally captures one of my scariest most recent dreams that i have had and it def happened because someone decided to make me watch the all the grudge movies but it started really weird cause i woke up in my dream to this weird hillside and it felt like i had blurry vision, but all i could see was a hillside with a dead looking tree with a swing attached to it and a small person swinging slowly. as i approached the tree i noticed that the small person was a little girl dressed all in black with long black hair but she was facing the other way. for some reason i guess i was curious to see what she looked like and i started walking towards her. as i was getting close i noticed that my surroundings were starting to change going from a quite hillside to things creeping and moving around me but when i looked at them, they were able to avoid from me seeing them, but i knew they were there. as i was getting closer to the girl swinging on the tree i started to hear really faint voices that sounded like they were trying to warn me but i couldnt make out what they were trying to say. i finally got to the tree but the girl was facing away from me so i said hello to try to get her attention but she didnt reply back, she just kept swinging very slowly, i said again hey little girl whats your name? but again no answer, So i decided to put my hand on her shoulder and i asked again hey do you have a name? she finally stopped swinging and started to turn around. as she started to turn around, horror struck my face because as she was turning around i noticed that she didnt have a face at all, there was no eyes, no nose, no ears. the only facial feature that she had was a mouth but when she finally turned to me she just sat there for a couple of minutes almost as if she was staring at me. i started to get more scared and i backed off slowly back down the hill, but as i was walking back down the hill i noticed that she started to follow me. so i picked up my pace alittle and she kept up with me, soon i was running as fast as i can down the hill back into the nearby town and took a quick turn into an alley way. as i stopped to catch my breath i looked around and noticed that the nice quite sunny day turned into a dark night with no light emitting from anywhere except from this one street light where the little girl was standing. she lifted her head to me almost as if she was staring at me again and as she stared at me, she opened her mouth gave me a sinister smile and then the only street light went out.
I had a rather disturbing dream last week.
A Japanese man that had recently employed me appeared in my dream. He came to my door with a bottle of prescription pills and forcefully asked how many I was going to buy. I, of course, was frightened, what do I do? A dilemma, what if he wanted to send me to jail, but what I angered him by refusing? I woke in a cold sweat.
After a couple minutes of confusion whilst lying in bed, I looked around my room and had a little chuckle. To my right sat my computer with a frozen image of a film I’d been watching while falling asleep.
I feel asleep watching The French Connection and dreamed my boss was selling me drugs.
To create the visual aid, I compiled a few picture portions into photoshop:
This is the man I used to represent my boss.
Using the MagicWand tool, I was able to easily crop his body out of the photo and place onto the dream-like, gradient background.
This is the girl I used to represent myself. After flipping and cropping the photo, I used a different gradient within her form to aid the ‘dream-like’ feel of the representation.
After resizing the photo, I again used the MagicWant feature to separate the YEN to portray my monetary dilemma.
With a clip art pill bottle, my dream sequence is completed!
DS106 Assignment:

I took out all my Reese’s from the box. Then, I ate a pack and placed the empty wrapper in the box for added depth! : P

Babies and Puppies. I had a deram that my housemate and I went to the store and we decided that we should adopt babies and puppies, so we did. It was an awesome dream (so much cuteness). I think it’s because I had been watching videos like this the night before…

Day 27′s assignment was: “Dreamland. Use a recent dream as inspiration for what you do today.”
The night before, I went to bed wondering what crazy dreams I was going to have this night. The past few weeks I’d been having ridiculously vivid dreams and thus assumed that this night would be no different.
I was wrong. I woke up in the morning and couldn’t remember having a single dream. :/
So for today I decided that I would paint a recurring nightmare I’ve been having lately where I am trapped forever in the hell that is retail work. To me, there is nothing worse that dreaming about work because generally when I dream about work I sleep very fitfully and wake up more tired than I was before I went to bed.
In this recurring nightmare I am trapped at working at Macy’s for the rest of my life in endless servitude to all the ungrateful customers. I never able to leave the store and the pile of clothes that the customers try on and throw on the floor always grows larger and larger and larger.
For this I used acrylic paint on a canvas and also an image of Macy’s that I got from online.
I was tempted to throw it in the fire and let it burn, but decided it probably wouldn't be that good for the enviroment
Actually since I made this painting I haven’t had a nightmare about Macy’s…
