Week 12: Make a tutorial

**Step 1:** Find clips for the character description you want to do on youtube. I find the Joker story very entertaining so thats why I chose him

**Step 2:** Find a website that downloads the Youtube videos to your computer so you can cut the clips and put them in order in iMovie.

**Step 3:** Drag the clips you downloaded from your files or desktop into iMovie and put them in order first then start cutting the clips however you like. I find that a lot easier and quicker instead of cutting each video download one at a time.

**Step 4:** Once you have your video downloaded on iMovie, you go to your youtube account and click the camera with a + in the middle and click “Upload Video”

**Step 5:** Drag the downloaded video from your files into the box that says “Select files to upload” it will then process and tell you when its done.

Step 6: Make sure the video works and uploaded correctly. Then copy the link and embed it in your ds106 website.

Create a short about a minute thirty to two minute video describing a character. Use about 3-5 short clips that describe the characters personality, that portrays what they will be like in the story. Basically you are just taking a closer look at a character before you begin the story so the audience can get to know the characters better.

Make this fun, and interesting, create a story in your blog with this character.

I would recommend using iMovie, because you can do all the editing you need to do within the program, making the overall assignment easier.
