I’m afraid to do this assignment. I think it’ll be a neat exercise though.

This first work is the first ensemble piece I wrote here at UMW. I was learning how to orchestrate and how to write for people, and it’s not great. I hate to listen to this piece. It’s very interesting to listen back to this and realize how far I’ve come. (Forgive the live audio)

Next, this is a piece I finished in the Spring last year. I know that’s not the newest thing, but the things I’m working on now aren’t quite ready for sharing. This piece means a lot to me and helped me break into the new music scene that’s happening right now. I was able to take what I learned in the past and create this piece of music that I’m really proud of.
