One place I’ve always wanted to go is Puerto Rico. In all honesty, my goal is to retire there on a farm and teach. I know it is so beautiful, yet, I haven’t made the time to visit. I decided I’d create a pinterest board to get started, possibly plan out where I’d like to live. I still practice speaking Spanish, here and there. I’ve been learning about the language since high school. And who can give up Puerto Rican food?! For the first of the 3 assignments, I was tasked to create a board for my dream vacation. This assignment was cool to work on because recently my friends and I had been discussing places we wanted to travel to, and what better way to make a list by making a board using Pinterest!
I wont’t lie, when I first started working on this I thought the process would be super simple like any other website but surprisingly it was a little confusing. However, after I watched a youtube video on how to make a board, everything worked out. For my Vacation Spots I chose, Cape Town, South Africa, Bogota, Columbia, New Zealand, Guadalajara, Mexico, Dubai, London, England, and Lima Peru. As there are many things to do in many of these countries/cities there is one place in particular located in Bogota, Columbia that I would love to go to. I learned about this place on a Netflix show documenting international chefs’ journey around the world and this one chef’s story was really inspiring. What would I do if I had all the money in the world?? Well.. I start by paying off my car loan, then pay for my masters program. Then I would be super selfish! I would take my love and go on a year long vacation!
Greece is the country I would travel to. I would immerse myself into the culture and do my best to learn the language. Throughout the year of vacation, I would sight see the major landmarks of the country, but I would also go off the beaten path to small villages. My goal would be to learn as much about the entire country and the people as I could in one year!
When I was 18 years old, I did an internship for three months working with refugee children. It was the best time of my life. I learned so much from everyone that I met while I was there. I want that experience again.
I am not sure why, but it would not let me embed the website into my blog. I have recently been on a Grey’s Anatomy kick and decided to make the quiz on the characters.
Greece. I have been there once and stayed for five months. I was there for work and was not able to explore much. I would love to be able to explore through all the non tourist spots.

My dream vacation consists of going to the beach (Hawaii, Florida, the Caribbean, etc.), a cabin in a woods, European destinations (Italy, Spain, Germany, etc.), and Alaska. I would also love to go to an amusement park like Six Flags or Disney World again. It is a very diverse selection of vacations, so the Pinterest board is really interesting.

As of this blog post, there are 113 pins on the board. It was really easy to pin a lot of posts in a short amount of time. If you like a picture, you simple click the little red push-pin, and then it’s pinned!
One of the many different dream trips are definitely possible, and I would love to do as many as I can one day. I have been dreaming of going to Hawaii for the longest time, and I think it would be so cool to go to a luau. I would honestly love to go to any of the destinations that I mentioned earlier.
In order to go on one of these vacations, it will require hours upon hours of planning and making a budget. Traveling is expensive. Everything adds up very quickly. Plane tickets are not cheap, so it would be ideal to be able to drive somewhere (even though gas is pretty costly also at times).
Many of the places that I would like to go to do have native languages. In Hawaii, Italy, Spain, Germany, etc. have their own native languages that I would like to learn at a little bit of if I would travel there. I am already learning Spanish, so that means Spain would be a great option for me for a dream vacation. Most people in Hawaii speak English, but Hawaiian is still used in some parts of the islands or just for tradition.
It was fun creating this Pinterest board. As I was doing this assignment, I almost tried to stop myself one time because it felt like I was just taking a break. This is a great assignment for dreaming about and kind of organizing a dream vacation using only the internet and its infinite resources.
The “Create Your Dream Vacation On Pinterest!”assignment was to make a Pinterest board about some wishful travel plans, pin a solid number of things to it, and then write a brief summary of the desired trip. I decided that I wanted to travel around Europe. This is actually something that I’ve put a lot of thought into, and I think I have a pretty good chance of it coming true.
I am hoping to study abroad through UMW next year, and I am planning on taking classes somewhere in Europe (England maybe?) and traveling on the weekends. I think that this is an amazing opportunity to travel and really be a part of different cultures, all at a fairly low cost. When else in my life will I have such an amazing opportunity?
I am hoping to travel all around Europe, so there would definitely be some language barriers. I speak a little bit of French, so I might be able to figure that out, but it will be up to Google Translate for the rest of it!
Just doing this assignment got me so excited about my future travel plans! Here is the link to the board that I created. Looking at the board makes me want to go right away!
Create Your Dream Vacation On Pinterest!  3 1/2 Stars
My dream vacation would be going to beaches around the world. I believe beaches are a very calming and relaxing place to visit. This is a collection of pictures of beaches all around the world. Plenty of different furniture styles for groups gatherings and also some alone time seating. I have also included a few pictures of fun foods and interesting drinks. This board really makes me want to take a trip to the beach.

I created a sewing room. It will have to be a huge room because I have a lot of items on this board. I have picked out wall decorations with a sewing theme, buttons and framed patterns. Plenty of storage options to hold all of the wonderful sewing gadgets and beautiful fabrics.A selection of tables to stretch out my projects, I like plenty table room to lay my projects on. I still need to find some furniture, maybe a small sitting area for hand work or a mini kitchen. I hope you enjoy looking at my Dream Sewing Room.
This is a fun and interesting way to draw. My drawing skills are not the greatest on the laptop. I might have done a little better if I had used a computer mouse. This is something i have done a lot of, its a fun way to be creative without the creative mess. I will definitely use this website in my classroom. It is fun for any age. Thanks Google Draw!!
Vacations can be a great way to get away from your day to day life and go somewhere to relax, enjoy being pampered, taking in sights trying new foods, and even going on different adventures. If I could, I would vacation at least twice a year. There are so many places to explore and so many things to do. It’s hard to pick just one. Fortunately for us, we can use Pinterest to save some of the ideas that we may have for our dream vacations.
For this week’s assignment, I created a Pinterest board titled Vacation Ideas.
Using this board, I was able to pin the different places that I wanted to travel to, the places that I would like to stay at, and some of the things that I wanted to do while there. some of these things included a trip to the Caribbean’s, a trip to Paris, and even a Disney Cruise. So far, at the top of my list for places to visit and vacation is Disney World or Disney Land. While I would like to visit every place that I have pinned to my board, Disney is the place that I can see myself going to first within the near future.
There are so many things that can be done here. Not only can you enjoy the different magical kingdoms with your family and friends, but you can also enjoy the amenities that your hotel may have to offer like spas, pools, and dining. I’m very family oriented and would love to travel with my family. Disney world seems like a place where everyone in the family can enjoy their visit. If I were to plan a family vacation here, I would plan it as a Christmas vacation. My family usually travels to visit other family members over the holiday, which isn’t bad, but I think visiting Disney would be a different experience especially since my siblings and I are much older.
For me to make this dream vacation happen, I would have to look into the full cost of everything. I would have to look into our flights there, the different hotels (comparing the deluxe, moderate, and value suites), and what we want to experience while vacationing. If I were to travel out of the country, I have my passport but I would have to make sure that the people that I travel with also has theirs before we decide to travel. Since I would like to be able to enjoy everything without feeling rushed, I would also take into consideration the amount of days/nights that I would plan to vacation for. I wouldn’t want to plan to overbook myself while on vacation because that would take away from the relaxing portion of my vacation.
For this assignment, I had to create a pinterest page w/my dream vacation and I have ALWAYS wanted to go to BORA BORA! The pictures of that place are stunning! From the bungalows over the ocean to the beautiful sea life, to the breath taking views of nature, it just looks so amazing! this is definitely a destination that I plan to get to within the next few years!
For this assignment (3.5 stars), I got to plan my dream vacation on Pinterest. I immediately knew that I would love to go on a vacation all over Europe. I would love to spend over a month or so being able to travel to various cities. A few of the cities I would like to see would be Venice, Rome, Florence, Dublin, Madrid, Barcelona, and so much more. I would like to also go to London and Paris again. I think this would be an amazing trip full of lots of amazing experiences. My board has a variety of the places and sites I would want to see. It also some guides for some of the places. For the trip, I would obviously need a lot of time off, a passport, and a ton of money! I think I may one day be able to visit some of these place but not all at once. I definitely want to go and be able to get a sense of the society and get to eat all of the different food. I started by creating a board on my Pinterest account. I then searched for various cites in Europe and general travel ideas for the cities.
