Consumer Mashup

This ds106 assignment is called “Consumer Mashup” and we have to think of a place where we spend money the most and what we spend it on, since I live alone and I don’t know how to cook, I go to McDonalds at least 3 times a week and I get Big Mac and a large size fries, so I took the simple McDonalds logo and added “Big Mac and Fries” on it. I edited the photo using a simple program on the internet, the program is called Picnik and it’s easy to use.

I know it’s not good to eat McDonalds that often and it makes you fat, but it’s fast and tastes good not to mention that it’s right next to my house.

A Consumer Mashup- IBM

Samsons Blog webdate 11112.8

In my search through cyber space I chanced upon Tomomi Sano‘s page. Sano created a mashup for the travel company H.I.S. Sano explains how to use an iphone app to make the advertisement. I used photoshop and simply added onto a “rube goldberg clock/gears background by some guy“- i added the IBM logo and the word “Think” in a funky sketches font.

I decided to take to different films and combine them by having ones audio and the others visual. I took the audio of the Night at the Roxbury and the visual of Transformers Dark of the Moon. I used to audacity and windows movie maker to edit the audio and put together the video.
