Merging the orginial song with a cover

Take the original version of a song and mix it with a cover that is drastically different. This will allow you to truly see the difference in the two songs in real time. It could be a slow version of the song and then a faster paced version of the song. It is cool to see how different artist's create different versions of the same song. An example would be to mix Michael Jackson's song 'Smooth Criminal' with Alien Ant Farm's version of the song. The chorus is a perfect example since it would go from the softer more pop version of Jackson's to the hard guitar version of AAF.
