So for this Assignment it was pretty broad, All you have to do is post a picture related to your favorite show, movie, song ect.  This picture I am using is a painting I did that involves Rocko From Rockos Modern Life, the 90′s nickelodeon cartoon.  It is my all time favorite cartoon and In this painting I used Rockos Image as a means of depicting how people forget about over time.  We will remember vague details about things from our past but form some sort of memory loss related to the subject.  Also there are a lot of Zombies because I think Zombies are great metaphor for loss of memory.  Zombies are generally mindless and are not the people they used to be.
The painting is done in acrylic paint, gouache and collage on Canvas.

Can you guess who my favourite singer and group is?

So, when I was looking for an assignment, I happened to go to the Fanfic Assignments. I didn’t really know what kind of assignments there will be but when I looked through it, I found a good one. It’s called Fan Fiction Picture by duncandonuts56. The assignment read:

Take the name or title of your favourite band, song, movie, or tv show and display it in the form of photography. You can take as many pictures as you want, but have your photo capture the band, song, movie, or tv show you pick. Be creative and have fun!

The Process

First, I went flickr to get the photos I needed. I decided to use two photos to show my favourite group and my favourite person in that group! For my favourite group, I looked under “storm” and for my favourite person I looked under “sakura”.

After I got the photos I liked, I went to Picasa, a program I’ve been using to edit my photos.
(This time I couldn’t use my iPad to edit my photos so I had to use my PC)
In Picasa, I used a tool to make a collage of the two photos I took from flickr. I edited its sizes and pasted onto a red background. I made the photo of the storm bigger because that represents the group and the photo of the sakura smaller because my favourite singer is part of the group.
After I was done adjusting the colours and the sizes, I was done making my picture.

The Story
I knew right away which group I was going to use. I am a fan of this group for quite a long time, although I can’t remember when I became a fan.
So, some hints before I tell the answer!

1. This group is really famous and popular in Japan right now!!
2. Their group name is in Japanese!
3. The background is red because my favourite singer likes red!

I guess everyone knows who my favourite group is.
Yes, it’s Arashi!!! And my favourite person in Arashi is Sho Sakurai!!!!
The storm is arashi in Japanese and sakura represents my favourite person’s last name!!
I like Arashi because I like their songs and also, the members of the groups are really close to each other. They joke around and on tv shows, you can really see that they are close to each other and that makes me happy. I do like the group itself but my favourite is Sakurai because he is funny, clever, and I like his face.haha
