Animoji Karaoke

Have an iPhone? Create yourself using Apple’s Animoji and sing or lip sing to your favorite song! Save the video and upload it to your blog. Make sure to include 1) Why do you think your character looks like you? 2) Why did you chose this song? This mashup includes elements from video, audio, and written work.

For this assignment, we had to record ourselves as an Animoji doing karaoke to a song.

  1. I think the character looks like me because I designed it to look just like me! I chose the pale skin, blonde hair, and blue eyes.
  2. I chose this song because I thought it would be funny in contex with what is going on with Covid-19 right now. The song is called “Don’t Want To Be Here”. I thought it was pretty fitting considering everyone is stuck at home.

I had a lot of fun with this assignment! I like how it included elements from video, audio, and written work!

Here is the final product:

This assignment is worth 5 stars…3 more stars for the week!

Animoji Karaoke

The first assignment I chose was comical to me and I think some cheering up everyone needs. The Animoji Karaoke is worth 5 STARS! This assignment was fairly easy I would say and is done on any updated version of the iPhone that includes animoji. I did this in my text messages and just sent it to myself.

  1. I picked a shark because I thought the wide mouth would go good with the lyrics in this song and really get the affect of holding a note for a long time. Also its a shark singing Don’t Stop Believin’ so that was great.
  2. I chose this song because it is well known and pretty well liked I would say, but also because it is the kind of positive attitude and cheering up we need in times like these.

Animoji Sings Whitney Houston!

For my mashup assignment I decided to use my bitmoji to sing one of my all time favorite 80’s songs. I figured Whitney Houston’s “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” would be the perfect song to tie in our 80’s class theme. It is such a fun and inviting song that is still a classic song today. I recorded it in a text message to myself and then embedded it into this post.

Also below is how you create one of these recordings within the iPhone. Once you create it airdrop it either to your MacBook or email it to yourself if you don’t have a Mac. It is a super easy way to record it and send it if you play the music on another deice and just mouth the words to the song you chose.

Animoji Karaoke

I created an animoji karaoke on my iPhone. I chose the tiger because I liked it the most. Also, the tiger’s face is rounded and color yellow. This matches me the most since I have a rounded face and blonde hair. The song I chose to sing along to was That’s Christmas To Me by Pentatonix. The Pentatonix is my favorite band and I am starting to get in the Christmas mood.

Through this mashup I was able to incorporate audio, visual, and written story. It was a fun and creative activity.

Animoji Karaoke

A lion singing Every Breath You Take?!

For my animoji karaoke, I decided to lip sing one of my favorite songs from the 80’s, Every Breath You Take by The Police. Yes, I know there is a lion singing the song! I wanted to use a lion animoji instead of my animoji character for two reasons. ONE: my animoji character is DISGUSTING! TWO: my Zodiac sign is Leo (a lion), so technically, THAT IS ME!

As you can see I had a very fun time messing with all the facial expressions of this animoji! LOL! So yeah! I hope you enjoy my lil song here!

Animoji Karaoke

For this assignment we were asked to make our Animoji or Memoji sing one of our favorite songs. I chose to sing Material Girl by Madonna to not only fit in with our theme but because I haven’t been able to get it out of my head since I filmed my commercial a couple weeks ago.

My Animoji looks just like me in my opinion. She has pale skin, orange hair, freckles, and green eyes just like me. In my later assignments I have created other animoji’s that fit into our 80’s theme by embracing an 80’s girl style

To create this I opened my messages app, and  simply started using my Animoji. I have already created an Animoji that looks just like me but to create one you simply just hit the ‘+’ and it will guide you through a whole process of choosing hair color, skin color, eye color, eye shape, nose shape and much much more. You can create as many as you would like to look however you please. But, like I said I already have one that is just to my liking. I texted the Animoji to myself and posted it to YouTube. So take a look at my Animoji singing Material Girl by Madonna!!

Animoji Karaoke

For this mashup, I lip synced Jessie’s Girl using apples new Animoji app! The animoji looks very similar to me with the dark hair, brown eyes, and the hair! I also typically wear a black beanie. I choose this song because it was released in 1981 and is an 80’s hit!

Animoji Karaoke.

This is the original assignment worth 5 stars. With my iPhone XS, I created myself using Apple’s Animoji. I decided to listen and lip sing the song, “Don’t Stop Believing” by Journey from the 80s. I saved the video and uploaded it onto YouTube and my google drive. I answered the questions, ” Why do you think your character looks like you?” “Why did you chose this song?” This mashup includes elements from video, audio, and written work that I created all on my iPhone.

I created my own personal emoji with blonde hair and blue eyes. I chose to have a smile when speaking because I believe that is what I act like when interacting with people. My boyfriend though that my emoji looked just like me so I think I did pretty good with the editing and design of my emoji. He talked for me because he found it funny that it was my face with his voice. I had to look up how to create my own emoji and the directions helped me out a lot. This assignment was interesting and challenging because I had a hard time at first on how to upload the video to my email, google drive, and YouTube. Overall, I know have my own personal “mini-me.” I have found myself using it more during texting my friends.

Animoji Karaoke

To be quite honest, I haven’t used my Animoji since I got the iPhone X. It was fun to use at first, but I didn’t really have a point to use it unless I was going to make a joke or something. But this project gave me the opportunity to use this software again!

Doing this was quite simple. I just used the software and played Dreamer by Supertramp in the background through my computer. After singing it, I just posted it to Youtube through my phone. Two steps and I was done!

I chose this song because it was by one of my favorite singers from the 80s. This was a song I used to listen on repeat for weeks on end. I was obsessed with this song in high school. I haven’t listened to this song in ages, so trying to sing it again was actually really difficult. But now my obsession is back, and I remember every line. Literally while typing this blog post, I am listening this song. I loveee this song. It’s so good.

This Animoji I chose is actually one I created to look like myself. I thought since I’m not recording myself, might as well show the Animoji created to look like me!

I hope you all enjoy this clip of me trying to sing a song that I was obsessed with and haven’t listened to in years!

By the way, if you listen very carefully, you can hear my bracelet jiggling in the background. It’s because I was petting my suite-mate’s dog while doing this- I had to do it, Puchi is extremely cute and I can’t say no to petting her!

All to Myself Animoji

This assignment I did is called Animoji Karaoke where you must sing or lip sing your favorite song using Apple’s Animoji. So, I chose to do the song “All to Myself” by Dan+Shay because that is my favorite song right now. I really enjoyed doing this assignment, and it was not that hard, but I did choose to lip sing rather than actually sing it because I am a really bad singer. I hope you like it.
