3. Video Assignment “WhatĀ makes you laugh“
I created the ds106 assignment what makes you laugh. This is an example of the assignment. I put the video which come from youtube. Why I created this assignment is because even though I could see some funny visual assignment, I could not see how to make people feel fun. Therefore I decided to make it. I want people to enjoy play creating the assignment. In addition, the Hangover is the best funny movie ever for me, so I want to share the idea.
2. Design Assignment “What is culture for you??”
I created the ds106 assignment what is culture for you?? And this is an example of the assignment. I put pictures which relates culture into one scratch paper by Aviary. 1, Samurai 2. Samurai(Kanji) These pictures come from Google pictures I mixed up with these two. The pictures each represent the Japanese culture I think. I hope people would make something trick art with the assignment.
I chose to create assignment for extra credit.
1. Visual Assignment “Show us your dream!!!”
I created the ds106 assignment which show us your dream. And this is an example of the assignment. I put three pictures which relates my dream into a scratch paper by using Aviary 1,Ā Pilot 2, Family 3,IKEA . Firstly,my dream job is a pilot. I’ve dreamed since junior high school. Secondly, if I could get my famyly, I would like to go beach with family toĀ spend awesome time. Thirdly, IKEA is second my dream job because there are so many interesting in the store for me.
My final choice for a DS106 assignment is called Fan Fiction Picture. I first saw it on Takuji’s blog, and then again on Eri‘s. I liked both of them, but I also chose this assignment because the “fanfic” section is one that I haven’t yet chosen any assignments from. The assignment reads:
Take the name or title of your favorite band, song, movie, or tv show and display it in the form of photography. You can take as many pictures as you want, but have your photos capture the band, song, movie, or tv show you pick. Be creative and have fun!
Instead of a band, song, movie, or TV show though, I chose DS106:
I did a google search of “DS1906″ and these are some images that come up. I then took physical pictures of my computer screen (I wanted a bit blurrier/more tonal image, rather than just a screen shot), mashed them together, fixed some color/balance problems, added text, then my own deco around the text.I guess this officially makes me a fan of DS106.. Thank you all for this fun DS106-semester experience!

I took 2 pictures on my phone and add ‘A’ and ‘B’ at Gimp2.
Process: Find a picture of Pikacu and Phoo. Conbine them and color them.
Story: They are extremely influential in both Japan and the US espiciallyĀ in 90′s… They are both yellow… sort of animals which have a owner… Kawai hun? childhood remake!!
Process: Draw what I want to draw
Story: I don’t belong to any culture. The picture presents thatĀ I am a person whoĀ adopts good parts from multiple cultures.
Process: Buy a bottle of green tea, and use a cell phone to Ā take a photo that manipulates distance to create an optical illusion.
Story: A bottled drink is always not enough for me. I can finish the tiny bottleĀ in a short time.

IĀ decided to do the writing assignment session, New Emerging Technology Writing Assignment
This assignment directions is write about a recent emerging technology and how it has effected our society. This assignment I felt was perfect for this section as we are talking about the future of education.
Well the NUMBER ONE technology anyone would have to agree is the emerging of smartphones. Smartphones have been our only a few years yet the idea of it has spread so fast that most people in advanced countries own them or at least have used them and know what it does. Smartphones can do anything a computer can do but it can be done anywhere as long as the person is holding the phone. This results in information flying around here and there within seconds. For instance i think that twitter has gained alot from smartphones especially in Korea. If you go toĀ Naver the number one search engine in Korea and search any famous star on it a stars profile will pop up and their recent twit and peoples twit about this person. People can be riding the bus and in the past people would just stare into space or pretty girls/guys on the bus but now they are taking in information and replying their thought instantly.
Whether we like it or not cyberspace and society is growing rapidly even though there is only one class in the university. Out in the real world it is what is being invented at this very moment.
As my mind wanders as how the internet will be effected by this as time goes on is beyond my imaginations. SmartPhones are becoming our cameras our textbooks our news our toy and our life. One possilbe thought that comes into mind is that like in Cambell’s video our whole process of learning will change. The possibilities are endless for these phones and technology and to be honest I am both scared and excited to what it will become/brings in the future.
Alright nevermind! This is my final Ds106 assignment instead! I never did a writing assignment yet so I thought it was about time.

I thought this would be perfect for me because I love both poetry and photography.
This is a poem about my favorite place and I used photos of my childhood mixed with recent ones.
This assignment took me about 2 hours because it took forever to find all these photos of the river. The poem didn’t take much time to make though… I really enjoyed this assignment because it was very personal and made me reflect and reminisceĀ about the good memories from the river.
