So here is what I have done and what I am currently doing.
So here is what I have done and what I am currently doing.
So, Bev sent me this assignment earlier to create and upload my resume. I guess she’s decided I need some qualifications in order to work for our new company. I guess I could have fluffed it up a bit, but I think honesty is the best policy, so I just wrote what was true.
I’m assuming this will suffice, considering Bev has already hired me. I’m pretty sure she’s only asking for HR reasons, but I must say I really was surprised by my skills and experience after I started to write them out all out.
It was pretty easy to create this. I wrote it up and then played with font and design in order to make it as aesthetically pleasing as possible (something I tend to strive for as an artist). I then converted it into a PDF so that I could grab a picture of it and then upload here for our files.
I had to create a character résumé
I used Microsoft word to create it. I actually just used the template I have for myself so That made it easy!

For one of the assignments of this week, I chose to do Character Resume(3 points) for John Brown. This assignment is to create a resume by using either Microsoft Word, creating your own webpage, or using a website like LinkedIn.
I chose to use Microsoft Word to write John Brown’s resume.
This is the screenshot of the resume, you also can see if you click John Brown’s resume above.
It’s been long time since I’ve been writing resume, but it was really great time to remind how to write resume!
For one of my assignments this week I decided to do the assignment, Character Resume, that was submitted by Nicky Memita.
The assignment is to, “Using either Microsoft Word, creating your own webpage, or using a website like LinkedIn, create a “fake” resume for a fictional person or character of your choice. Add detailed descriptions and make the resume relevant to the character. Resume must include a profile, work history, education, and skills. Locations, job positions, and companies can be made up! Use your creativity!” This assignment is worth 3 points.
I don’t need a resume to impress someone, but it definitely helps
I created my resume on a Word Document then saved it as a PDF and took a screenshot and saved that as a JPEG. Once I saved everything, I uploaded the resume to flickr.
I also uploaded my resume to my agency’s website! Check us out! Hit us up!
I felt that everyone should be able to see my credentials so I decided to upload my updated resume. I created this in Microsoft Word and used a template I had found online as a reference. I added my contact info, my skills (though I did limit it to just a few since apparently some aren’t appropriate), and my past work experience. You will notice that I have left out my schooling. I am independently successful as a High School drop out. For this reason I feel that school is unnecessary to mention. Here is my resume. I really had to go back and look up where I’d been. Time really gets away from you.
I’ve decided to open my own business! Folks around these parts can be so untrustworthy. I bought a record deal with Legitimate Company Not A Scam over six months ago and no dice! Where’s my record? Gone with the wind.
First, I had to draft my own resume. This was easy enough, using a free service. The server is currently down, unfortunately. I just had to pick a design and put all of my skills in! I’m very talented, I hope you read it.
I then set up a website for Stirrup Trouble and began sifting through the resumes that came in. I decided to hire Donnie Rawlen and Delilah Valentine because they were the only ones who applied most qualified. In order to make myself seem more accessible, I created a pinterest board so that they could get to know me a little bit better.
I will primarily be using the agency website for my worldly communications. There are important matters that I must attend to. But fear not, lovelies- I’ll still check in here to let you know what I’m doing.
Love always,
Character Resume (3 Stars)
I decided to spend this morning updating my resume, so that I can use it to help create my bio on the staff page of our agency.
I found a template online and inserted my own information into it. I have really only been employed at three places for my entire life, but I am relatively young so I guess that is expected. I thought it was pertinent to list all of my skills, because you never know what skill could be important when you are a private investigator. At times I found it difficult to remember everything that I have done over the years so that was a challenge, but once I remembered it was easy to type up. The online template sometimes became frustrating with formatting, but I was always able to get it to work and look nice eventually. I think that make this resume will make writing my bio for our webpage significantly easier now.
