I decided to do the Three Moon Wolf story for my last web assignment. I had to go to the comment sections of a product on Amazon or Ebay and write a story about the product. I found a t shirt on amazon that had a picture of a giant sloth climbing the Empire state building like King Kong. I immediately knew this would be a good one. I wrote a story about The sloths heroics and contributions to society that in no way helps the sale of this t shirt. When I was thinking of what I wanted to do I tried to be as sarcastic as possible and create a ridiculous story about a giant sloth, which wasn’t very hard. I tried to tied other famous animals like King Kong and Airbud to make the story seem real. As for creating the story, I basically just looked at the image and wrote the first thing that came to mind. I was surprised at how many people do this for fun. There was a lot of funny stories on the products on amazon. It’s almost become it’s own art form.

This assignment has you create a story using an Amazon review. To find a product to review, I used the Random Amazon Product website, searching until I found something interesting enough. I ended up with this adjustable tree pruner, and it looked like a weapon to me, so I made up a fake review posing as a “tree” cutting enthusiast. I did actually submit the review, but it takes time to process, so I just used X-Ray to simulate what I wrote out until then. 

For one of the web assignments I decided to do the Three Moon Wolf Stories assignment. This assignment really stood out to me because I saw how wacky people were with it and that really appealed to me. What the goal of the assignment was to use the X-ray goggles and edit a product’s reviews either on amazon or e-bay or some other similar type of site and make the reviews look pretty silly and that is exactly what I did.

WARNING: These reviews aren’t for the faint of heart or anyone who is overly sensitive. You have been warned. Most of the reviews reflect my sense of humor. I usually looked at what the people were talking about and then kind of made a more crazy review but sometimes I just went nuts with it. Using the X-ray goggles all I had to do was edit text.
