Take a movie scene and make it into a comic book page – not just stringing six screenshots together, but designing it so there is emphasis and flow, and a use of the page layout to create meaning and dramatically tell the story. This may require editing dialogue, editing and cropping images, and visualizing sound effects. 

Create a tattoo that can represent your personality type. Tell us about your tattooo, and what does it means to you. If there is any thing supersticious about your tattoo, share it with us. You can hand design your own unique tattoo on a plane paper, or you can use any photo editing software to design your tattoo. Once you design your own unique tattoo, make mutiple copies of that, and add different color effects to each copy. Each Color is unique, and can depict different mood. Use different effects and colors to represent the mood of your tattoo. Finally, make a collage of all the copies of tattoo you edit, and save it as jpg or png.

Create some sort of graphic. Design the overall graphic to convey some sort of feeling or theme, but then have text saying something completely contradictory to the theme or feeling. Sort of like one of those old anti-motivational posters, but with more design than a black box with a white frame.

As designers are shfiting towards the KISS – Keep it simple stupid formula and creating Logos that are super simple and easy to understand. I want a something challenging Logo that is simple yet detailed. I know it is hard to a achieve but not impossible. Choose one of your favorite movie quotes and insert the quote over an image from the movie you chose.

As an homage to the popular Triple Quotes assignment, this one puts a rock music twist on it.

Find an image of a well known rock star, add to it a phrase by song lyric by someone related in some way to the star in the image and then attribute the quote to a third, related musician. From Know Your Memes:

(1) Get a picture of rock star people idolize. Mick Jagger, Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison — any beloved rock star from the 1970s will do.

(2) Slap on a phrase from the song lyric from a similar musician from a different band or era. Pick something close enough that a non-fan might legitimately confuse them. If you’re using Jimmy Page from Led Zeppelin, for example, you’ll probably want to grab a song lyric from say, the band Spirit (whom Led Zeppelin was accused of lifting the riff for Stairway to Heaven)

(3) Attribute the lyric to another band or musician from yet a third confusing space (maybe Eric Clapton).
