Colorize It

Use a photo you have previously taken, and adjust the colors in the picture. Make sure to adjust more than one color. You can adjust the colors to be unrealistic, or make them go along with the idea of the original picture.

Parallel Plot Media Mash Up

Take two different types of media which share a similar plot line and mash them up to better express the story. For example, use the audio from a book on tape and the film form a movie adaptation of the same story or maybe cut between two TV shows with episode that share a similar story line. It’s up to you, just explain your thinking!

Illustrate a catchphrase

Many well-known characters have brightened up our days just by uttering sometimes nothing more than a single word. Take a famous character’s catchphrase and illustrate it into an image. Try not to use the character themselves in the picture, make it so others can guess what the catchphrase being illustrated is.

Reenact A Viral Video

Take a viral video from the internet (let’s say with at least a million views) and reenact it. You can put your own twist on it or keep things simple. Either way there are thousands of videos to choose from.

Range of Emotions

Make a video showing your range of facial emotions. Showing the happiest you can be, all the way down to the saddest you can get.

But more than just recording your face, make the sequence tell a story, and add music, titles, caption or sounds to enhance the video feel.

Draw it.

Take a photograph of something (If you take a picture from the internet, make sure to be nice and cite the original) and transform it through GIMP, Photoshop, etc, into a drawing.

Humanizer

Take a picture of an animal and photoshop it into a situation that makes it look like it is trying to be human.

This is my Story

Tell a short story using flashcard and record yourself. It can be something funny, sad, or just even express how your day was.

Lip Synch Your Favorite Song

Some famous artists don’t even sing at their concerts! They lip synch! Let’s see if you have what it takes to lip synch like the pros. Play your favorite song and lip synch one verse.

How does this become a story? You can try adding captions or maybe incorporate it into more context when you write it up in your blog. Anyone can lip synch, but how many can turn this into a story? You should.
