So I decided to leave a phone message for Henry Bemis form the Twilight Zone episode “Time Enough at Last”. You can watch that here. It would ruin to the plot to tell you why the message im leaving Henry Bemis this message. The message itself could also be considered a spoiler of the plot so you are all warned. Here is the message

So what do you guys think? To make this I used my mother’s mac again so I could use garage band. Since I used a PC i can’t use that on my computer. I got the sounds from a few places. First the phone ringing sound came from my Iphone ring tone file. It was one of  the default ring tones on the Iphone 4. The Twilight intro sounds and the intro voice came from this youtube video

The rest of the speaking was just me. While it might sound like I was using some sort of filter for the “please leave a message part”, that was just me talking in a funny voice.

I am find garage band useful for stringing a few different audio files together. While I have’t really being using to edit the sound itself, when i want to add multiple sound file together garage band is really useful. I would recommend it to anyone that needs to do  basic song editing.

So what do you guys think about the phone message? I think it turned out really good. I hope Henry is able to pay for the order. He deserves a break. I also wonder how the phones are still up after the nuclear war????? that is the real question here.
