For the Favorite Movie Quote assignment, I chose Kingsman: the Secret Service (one of my favorite spy movies). “Manners maketh man” is one of my favorite quotes from the film. The quote itself is said right before something crazy and badass happens, but it’s also one of the main themes of the film, how a person is defined by their character. I chose a free use font that looked like a simple, classic 1930s, spy-ish font. I especially liked how it looks in white, since the background colors are pretty dark, and the only other whites in the picture are the the suit shirts.

I absolutely love the movie “The Sandlot”! And Hamm was definitely my favorite character in the movie! I decided to do this quote because its a classic and almost everyone knows it. I also recently watched The Sandlot for about the 50th time. I made this photo from a photo that I edited in Preview. I really enjoyed this assignment because it allowed me to express my favorite quote from one of my all time favorite movies. I especially like this quote because I’m only 5’2 so when my dad or boyfriend get frustrated with my they always say “you’re killing me smalls” trying to be clever.

If you havent seen the movie “They Live” then stop what youre doing and go check it out. Who doesnt love a good alien movie? Although not my favorite movie of all time (thats too hard to say) it really is an amazing film in my opinion.

I love Annie’s song, Tomorrow. I have never actually seen the movie (which I should!) but everytime I hear the song, Tomorrow, I get goosebumps. Not only because the singer puts all of her emotions out there, but it’s also because the message and the way it is depicted radiate beauty. There is sincerity in the portrayal of someone who is not well off but lives her life to the fullest with confidence.

I feel like Agent Nice Guy is more of me and less of a spy than others. We both want something hopeful, something that will bring happiness, but we don’t really know what will, so we do our best and just do the things that we can in the meantime. My character and I both want to release our inner selves but we don’t really know how, so we conceal with the characteristics of our alter ego instead.

I chose to do a quote that from a movie I have never seen. What I have seen is this quote multiple times and wanted to explore where it came from. I have heard of this movie multiple times and now I am more inclined to watch it now after doing this.

I found the quote on American Film Institute and it was #1 on the 100 best movie quotes of all time. When I saw it I recognized it and thought that this picture with this quote was wonderful together. I think this project was probably my favorite thus far.

This image and quote are from one of my favorite movies, Step Brothers.  This is one of the best parts of the movie. Dale and Brennan are trying to get investors for their entertainment company at a family birthday dinner, so they set up a presentation and a song to get people excited. It doesn’t go as planned, due to Brennan and Dale crashing their dad’s boat during the music video filming, and everyone gets a good laugh at their expense.

The image and quote I got this from is 30 epic django unchained quotes that you can find on youtube. I’m not posting it here due to the heavy language from the movie.

Anyways, this is one of my favorite movies when it was out and thought this scene was rather funny. The gentleman on the left recently freed Jamie Foxx (the guy on the right) from slavery (as this movie takes place during the slavery era) and begins teaching him his profession. During the scene, Jamie has trouble shooting a guy from up top a hill because he saw his children run around him while he’s doing whatever kind of work. That’s when he is told that he is worth $7000 and then Jamie proceeds to shoot him.

I used a quote and scene from Scott Pilgrim vs the World. I loved this movie when I was in high school and it had so many memorable quotes so I thought it would be perfect for this. The picture is from the scene where they first meet. The quote is after the first ex shows up.
