Design Assignment 1 The Little Caption worth 2 stars

Take one of your own photographs, one from Flickr Creative Commons (http://www.flickr.com/creativecommons/) or one from the DS 106 Flickr group (http://www.flickr.com/groups/ds-106/) and caption it

Did you ever think about what happens in a empty science classroom when no one is there? Well now you know when you leave a pair of skeletons in your science classroom or in your closet, they are bound to do something to pass the time. I heard of the saying skeletons in your closet, but these guys take it to a whole new level. So I hope this picture doesnt affend anybody, its all for laughs.

“2 STAR DESIGN ASSIGNMENT # 3?‘ “THE LITTLE CAPTION”

For this assignment I had to choose any picture from Flickr Creative Commons (http://www.flickr.com/creativecommons/) or one from the DS 106 Flickr group (http://www.flickr.com/groups/ds-106/) and caption it. So, I chose this adorable picture from (http://www.flickr.com/groups/-106/)  and I thought of a catchy title that went with the theme of the picture. It was very easy for me to come up with a caption just by looking at the birthday boy’s facial expression on his face while getting ready to blow out his candles from his dessert, and the facial expressions on his friends faces who look like their urging and can’t wait to get their lips on it! I thought it would be funny to make a caption relative to that and plus it would catch my audiences attention whenever they see the picture. The process was very easy, I just used Picnik.com to upload the picture then I used the text tool and the fonts to create my captions. I chose to use the splash the color effect on this picture just because I thought it would be more funny and go with the flow of my caption which is the reason why I chose to only have the birthday boy in bright colors to show that he is the center of attention, and that he is the only one important on that day…. sort of like a king. I put everyone else in black&white to show that they were beneath him and weren’t getting any of his birthday dessert LOL! I wanted to be a little more creative with this one! Hope you guys like!!

America runs on DUNKIN

This is my picture with a little caption. I chose to use this picture I took around Christmas of my younger sister. She was exhausted from basketball practice earlier that day, but for some reason she decided she wanted to dress up as santa. This photo was edited with instagram and paint artist to incorporate the caption.

The Little Caption

I started this assignment by browsing through http://www.flickr.com/creativecommons/ for something interesting. When I saw this image the first thing I thought of was Kim Droom’s wig, I mean amazing hair. Finally I gave it a fitting title. Enjoy!

Oh Brother!

My little brother might kill me for doing this, but that’s ok.  The things I do for ds106…

The Little Caption

This if for The Little Caption design assignment.  Captions can completely change a picture, but maybe not in this case.  Here’s the thing, my family is just like yours – we’re weird.  We do weird stuff when we’re all together but to us it’s not weird, it’s hilarious.  What isn’t funny about a skinny sixteen year old rolling his shorts up high and pulling his shirt down so it looks like he isn’t wearing pants.  That’s right – nothing.  Welcome to the family.

Once again, I simply added font in Picnik.  I know, it’s about time for me to step up and attempt something a bit more difficult when it comes the design assignments.

Assignment Details

‘The Little Caption’ flips me out!

This DS106 Design assignment is called “The Little Caption” to differentiate it from a similar activity called “The Big Caption“.

Inn this endeavour, participants are challenged to:

“Take one of your own photographs, one from Flickr Creative Commons
(http://www.flickr.com/creativecommons/) or one from the DS 106 Flickr group (http://www.flickr.com/groups/ds-106/) and caption it.”

I chose to re-take an earlier photo that I had created for The Daily Create #29 and add a caption that one might hear from a customer’s telephone call to the Dell Customer Service “Help Desk”.

Take care & keep smiling :-)

This image is of when Earl was a little younger and he loved to eat on my moms flowers and one day i happened to take a picture and it came out pretty decent.

Design Assignment: Clever Caption

Boo Boo

For my last two stars, I chose the assignment in which I had to pick a picture that I took and make a clever caption. I chose the picture of my dog when I was home last week. Whenever my mom leaves for work she always puts blankets on the couch, where Bentley can lay, but every time I wake up and walk out I find him taking advantage of his opportunity in sleeping on the actual couch. He always looks at me and knows he is wrong, but is too lazy to move, but as soon as I pick up the phone or walk away from him, he moves over to the side with the blankets almost as if he knows I am going to tell on him! It’s extremely precious. For this picture, I uploaded it into picnik.com, made the picture black and white, soft, and added the text.

The Little Caption "I Found You"

This is for digital storytelling.
ds106: The Little Caption

I picked up one picture from my Flickr, and gave it one caption.

This picture is one of my favorite in my daily shoot assignment.
This picture is took by my couple ring.

This is the actual photo on my Flickr

It looks like I try to find him (or like “Hey, I got you!!”).
This is why I put “I found you” on this photo.

P.S
For my Vanilla
Hey!! I found you!! I gonna get you, so just wait right there!!!!
HAHAHAHAHA!!
