For this assignment, I decided to cinematically write a letter to my 16 year old self. It was a different time back in my younger years and looking back I made a lot of mistakes but, hey, you live and learn right?
For this I used iMovie to record and edit my video.

As the name suggests, this is a video talking alllll about myself. Yep, that’s right it’s all about me and my likes about myself… perhaps even a confession.. shh… it’s top secret.
For this I used my agency laptop and recorded myself using recording tools such as photobooth. Hope you enjoy my bragging session.
Obviously, every stylish, vivacious, and classy broad like me needs to go on crazy vacations every once in a blue moon. My personal dream destination would to be to get out of this crazy Chicago town and go West to somewhere warmer!
For this assignment, I used some pictures of LA through a google web engine search and used a youtube to mp3 converter to get the sound “California Gurls” by Katy Perry to overlap my pictures.

I thought using some meaningless words would not get the point across properly until I started thinking about myself “WWSSD” aka what would Sylvia Stone do? Then I got to thinking about my girls, my maNOIRpulator girls and our shenanigans. So the words I picked were (1) Crazy (2) Men (3) Get (4) Murdered (5) When (6) They (7) Sleep! Then of course, my final touch was adding a logo for my crew, the MaNOIRpulators. I extracted my music of course from YouTube, I’m a write not a musician, don’t get your thoughts twisted there, Big Boy.

For this video assignment, I decided to do a tutorial for opening a lock in 30 seconds (or less!). I was successful at completing this task. To record, I used my photobooth app on my laptop and moved them over into iMovie so I could do overlapping with words and compile everything together!
