I picked these people because they are a huge part of my life.

This is Jordan and Emily. They met in high school and have been together for 7 years now. Obviously they are in love. Look at the way he looks at her and the way she is smiling. Throughout the past 7 years there have been ups and downs, but they both know what they have is real. They both are understanding, compassionate, and there for each other. A song that describes their relationship is Love Like Crazy by Lee Brice.

They are the “old couple” of their friends, and wouldn’t want it any other way, because they have been there and done that and at the end of the night they both go home together.

Everyone, this is my pride and joy, Louie.

He is full of a lot of things, but I took a picture of the most important items.

~Keys: Need to be able to drive my car

~Wallet: Have to have money to shop!

~Water: Stay hydrated

~Snack (in this case muffins) : I am always hungry so I carry some snacks for emergencies

~ Hair brush : Which I never really use throughout the day

~Cosmetic bag: Contains Advil, chap stick, tide to go, lip gloss, mouthwash, and mascara

This are items I take with me everywhere and if I forget something at home I sure do notice it gone throughout the day!

I chose to do the assignment ‘that’s not what i expected.’ It tells us to take a close up picture of something and see if people can guess what it is.

My picture above is not just of the letter W. The canvas on which W rests is the real medium. I used my iPhone, once again, and uploaded the picture to my mac. Afterwards in preview, I cropped the picture out so to hide the other distinguishing feature which would have made it easy to guess of what the picture is.

I figured this visual assignment would be fun and quick, so I chose it. I was right. Can you guess what the W is resting on?

The directive was to pour out one’s character’s bag and write a description of each item carried around in it.

Here’s the items in my character’s bag:

There’s a lasso. My character carries it around just in case he needs some rope. He never knows when he needs it. I can be employed during many tasks such as rounding up cattle or tying something else up.

His saddle isn’t technically carried in his bag. His horse carries it around. It was on the floor while the shot was taken.

Hard tack is included. My character gets very hungry. He’s on his last two pieces, so I imagine he’ll want to find the nearest town and buy some more.

A night gown is also in that bag. That cowboy doesn’t like sleeping in the same clothes all of the time. He can’t sleep in the nude either since other visitors sometimes stay in the same room.

So I have no cowboy or old west items at my house. So I ended up obtaining a bunch of pictures online and photoshopping them all together as seen above. I figured those were some of the essentials someone might carry around with them in the old west.

The assignment was to compose a brady bunch like picture.

Here’s my version. 

The squares on the periphery are of all close friends with myself in the middle. From left to right descending from row to row their names are Mike, Sami, Elizabeth, Alieh, myself, Akeem, water, Mike (with Chad and Emerson), and my dog Buster. I would’ve included my immediate family, however they wouldn’t all fit in the squares. Unlike the Brady bunch kids, including myself we only have three brothers in the family and no sisters.

I used my iPhone to create the collage using a free app called Collage. It was really easy. I copied all of the pictures off of Facebook then loaded them into Collage. With minimal effort a collage was born. Mimicking the brady bunch collage this one is different in that I include more than just people.

I’ve never cropped two photos together. So I figured how hard can it be? It was fairly challenging.

I couldn’t really figure out how to change the opacity of the cyclist. That was the hardest part of this assignment. I poured over online articles and came to the conclusion that without an image editing program I couldn’t really control the opacity. So that was pretty frustrating. I tried playing with everything else that I could control and came up with the image seen above.

In the future if I had access to a more sophisticated photo editor, I’m fairly certain the finished product would be more realistic.

This 2.5 star assignment required one to take a picture and then focus only on one color. The color I chose was red simply because it is on of my favorite colors and it’s abundant in my apartment! I used LunaPic to help me achieve this image!

For this 3.5 star assignment I was required to use 4 lines, 5 dots and one curve and make something out of that. I decided it was going to be using my character Sally and her ability to pour a mean shot and this is what I got!

For this assignment we were to recreate a scene from a movie. I picked The Shining because some of the best memes on the internet are made from those movie scenes. Clearly I couldn’t have an axe going through the wall, nor did I have a knife that big but this is my recreation!
