Favorite Vacation Destination

My all time favorite place to go is Half Moon Bay, California. It is one of the cutest towns and most beautiful chilly beaches you will ever go to. To create this collage I just grabbed a few images off of google and used the pic stitch app to put them together. It’s so beautiful!!

Color Changer

I took this picture today with my girlfriend at the river by our school and I thought it would be really fun to mess with the colors. I used an app called afterlight and messed with the color hues until I liked how it looked.

My Favorite Animal

For this assignment I decided to make a collage of my favorite animal: the Fennec Fox. I just took four pictures off of google images and used the app called pic stitch to put all the images together in a collage. Hope you enjoy these adorable little animals!!

Larger Than Life

At risk of sounding like a bad commercial, I chose to use this bottle cap because I’ve recently embraced being 21 and found this cap to be interesting. I suppose I just like the way to logo fits perfectly onto the face of it? I guess that’s one way to put it.

I will say this, though. That bottle cap’s larger than life for one reason: it’s a little bold.

My Storytelling Collage

Well what’s more fun than making a collage based on a series of events in my life? I figured that the easiest story to follow would be this one, heading off to college!

In the first photo, you see my acceptance letter, YAY UMW! Next, there’s me with my diploma at my high school graduation! I’m a Midlothian High School alum! Next, you see my mom’s car all packed up with my various things for school. Such a typical moving in to college pic! And lastly, there’s me sitting on my bed in my freshman dorm! I lived in Jefferson hall (boo no a/c)

The making of this assignment was really no different than many others. I simply went to www.befunky.com and made a collage of some photos that I chose!

What’s in my Dance Bag!

This assignment is totally up my alley! I’m super snoopy, I love to see what other people have in this bags! Technically this is just a what’s in my bag, but honestly mine would have just been too boring. Instead, I’ll show you what’s in my dance bag!

The contents of my bag include:

  • Tap Shoes: I’m a tap dancer! I love to tap, and I’m currently choreographing my first tap piece for PAC’s small show!
  • Jazz Shoes: I’m on dance team, so I always need my jazz shoes on hand.
  • Ballet Shoes: I’m currently taking the intro to ballet dance class here, so I always need my ballet shoes!
  • Foot Undeez: These are little fabric pieces that are like “undies” for your feet and toes! They give the no shoe look, while still being able to turn!
  • Turners: These are just for practice! They help you turn really well, but aren’t very pretty.
  • H2Ocean: This is a piercing cleaning solution. I have a lot of piercings, and they tend to get irritated when I dance.
  • Chapstick: I always have chapped lips!
  • Deodorant: Well……a dancer gets sweaty. What can I say?!
  • Hair ties/clips: Always gotta put my hair up!
  • Choreography notebook & Pen: In case I have any ideas for my dance I can always have a place to jot them down
  • Ankle brace: I actually have a sprained ankle, so I need to use this a lot when I dance!
  • Tiger Balm: This stuff is SO good. It turns your skin orange (like a tiger) and instantly warms and relaxes your muscles. I use this on my ankle a lot, and on my recently injured hip!
  • Snacks: Just in case I get hungry!
  • Earphones: Because I’m always walking and dancing down campus!
  • Wallet and keys: Well I gotta get into the gym and my house somehow!

I hope you guys enjoyed going through my stuff!

Super Duper Collage

Super Duper Collage

This here is my bucket list collage! I’ve always wanted to skydive, despite my immense fear of heights. I’ve also wanted to climb a mountain (I have before, but I want to climb a larger one). Then, once I’ve conquered my fear of heights and mountain lions, I’d like to hang glide! It seems a lot more frightening to me than skydiving, honestly, but maybe I’d be up for the challenge once I’ve taken care of one hurdle. And lastly, but not least, I’d like to build  a castle (or live in one, at least) because how would that NOT make for a great story?

The Forrest Gump Project

When thinking of what to do for this assignment, my first thought was to place myself onto an image of MLK, Jr. Why? When I was little, I was often said to look a lot like him (I never saw the resemblance…). This isn’t my best work, but I think it turned out fairly decent. It’s decent enough to make me laugh, at least.

I spent quite a bit of time trying to find two images that would work well together and, despite my inadequacy with most photo-editing programs, I managed.

Here’s the final product! And, yes, I did try to remove those weird splotches on the side of my face.  Enjoy:
