Dean Dome

I decided to choose my favorite photo and that happened to be a picture of the UNC basketball court. It reminds me of a time where all of my teammates were together and just having a good time.

Assignment Bank Assignment #2

2.) Visual Assignment – My Favorite Photo

When I traveled to Morocco last summer of 2018, I took several memorizing pictures but this one easily stood out. This picture was taken at the Paradise Plage resort in Agadir, Morocco. This is my favorite photo not just because of the captivating atmosphere or how nice this resort it. This reminds me of how beautiful the world can be and the tantalizing experience of traveling. I recommend visiting this beautiful country and resort whenever you have the chance to travel!

For this assignment within the assignment bank it asked to post your favorite picture and to explain why. So above, we have a picture of the Hollywood sign. This is my favorite picture that I have ever taken. This is because I got to check off one of the things that I never would have thought would be checked off of my bucket list. Being able to actually live the dream and go climb up to the sign and to be able to say that I was there, that I took that picture is great. This picture also shows that I was able to get over my fear of flying. To that point in my life I had never been on an airplane nor anywhere besides Chicago that was out west, and we drove to Chicago when we went. So once we flew there and back I have been wanting to get back on an airplane and fly all over. This picture represents an experience that will most definitely not be forgotten. #ds106

Picture in Myth Visual Assignment

You in Collage Form. Make it about the character that was created last week.

This is a preview of my character that I created in last weeks assignments.

Week 4 Visual Assignment

2 Stars Places of Piece

Create a collage of photos with all of your favorite spots where you feel relaxed or at peace. This should include at least four photos and can be places on-campus, at home, or maybe a spot you found while traveling. Then post the college to twitter.

The beach and the mountains are my favorite places to go and unwind and recharge. Unfortunately I did not make it to the beach this summer. The mountains are peaceful and relaxing. It is usually cooler in the mountains than it is at my home.

2 Stars Your Favorite Photo

It’s simple. Choose your favorite photo you’ve taken and tell everyone why you love it so much.

This is my cat, Smokey. I got him when he was about 3 days old. He had to be bottle fed every 2-3 hours, just like a newborn baby. In this picture he is a couple of month old. Every time I would get out of this chair, he would jump in the chair and go to sleep.

4 Stars   Create a silly Movie Poster

Take an existing movie poster and make it look silly.

I used the Grinch Movie poster and added a hanging bat, hanging spider, an oragne balloon and soem silly squggles.

2 Stars   You in Collage Form

This comes with simple instructions. Make a collage with images and words that describe you or mean something to you. This can either be done with actual materials like paper and magazine clips or by taking images, memes, and fonts from the Internet. Be careful to focus on the design of the collage, not just putting things together in a big glob. Have fun and be creative!

I love my family! They are my biggest supporters and they give my strength when I need it and encourage me to be the best that I can be. Snowman in the Christmas scene describes me very well. I can watch Christmas movies year around and I love snowmen. Christmas is my favorite season, its magical. Snowflakes, I am like a child when the first snowflakes fall every year. I love snow!! Can Am Motorcycle- this is a hobby that my husband and I share. I have been all over the state of Virginia and West Virginia. Quilt picture- I love to quilt, unfortunately I do not have the time to quilt with my college schedule. I do quilt and sew during holiday breaks and between semesters. This is me.

Sigh,

I would like to introduce, Emma!

IMG_0946

Emma was my first and so far only dog that I’ve ever had. She was a part Jack russel terrier and part Rat Terrier. Cutest dog ever. This picture was taken one day when my dad and I were outside working on my car. We always used to joke that she was our foreman, always overseeing all of the work we did. Honestly, as I’m writing this I’m getting a little emotional! We lost Emma to injuries after she was attacked by another dog. This is probably the best picture that I have of her and it reminds me of her, prior to the last time I saw her when she was ravaged by damage caused by the attack. A dog is an animal that fills a special place in human’s hearts. I won’t ever forget about her. Pictures can be very amazing things. Never would I have thought that this picture would mean so much to me. Take pictures of things you love!

Just Zaying…

My Favorite Photo

The inspiration for this was that this was one of the items I had received from the now-dead Club Nintendo loyalty website. The story behind this is that I really like the Super Mario games, and I noticed that this shirt was available to redeem with my points on the site.

My favorite photo

This is a post about my favortie photo that I have taken.

1, 2, & 3!

This is one of my favorite pics bc it’s showing my 3 most prized accomplishments – my 3 guys!  From oldest to youngest  – Christian, Gabe, and Noah are my 3 boys and are some of the most awesome human beings ever!  I love their drive, determination, and desire to succeed in life – even at these ages.

My Favorite Photo

This is Malkav (and Detective Pusheen, Pusheenicorn, Pusheenasaurus, and Mersheen. I may have a Pusheen problem). I found him in 2011 when we moved to a new apartment, and hear tiny meows coming from underneath the stairs. Sure enough we found a litter of four 6ish week old kittens. Three of them went to the SPCA, and we kept this massive, sweet, silly boy. He was the bravest kitten, if not the smartest. While the others ran away, he would hang back and hiss at us. I took this picture a few months before we lost him to a pulmonary embolism, and it was the last one I ever took of him. So that’s part of the reason it’s a photo I love. It’s also really just perfect. He’s lined up with the Pusheens so well, with similar positioning and everything. This is also the only time he ever did this (as far as I know). Our couch has moving parts, so he was never up there. It looks like I was doing something and had stuff on the couch? So maybe that’s why. I don’t remember. As photos go, it’s perfect. This is how I want to remember him: hanging out in the Pusheen parade, being silly, and so sweet, and making my day better.
