I had to choose a color and then take 20 minute walk in which I take a 5-8 pictures of the color as I encounter it and then upload the photos to Flickr and create a time line using TimeLine JS.

This was pretty straight forward. I uploaded all of my pics to my Flickr account and then followed the directions on how to create the JS timeline! It took some time so I would recommend setting a couple of hours aside for this assignment!

I decided to complete this assignment because I love to travel and I love Pinterest! This assignment is called “Create Your Dream Vacation On Pinterest!” and it’s worth 3 stars. The details of the assignment can be found here.

This was easy for me to do since I am so well-versed in Pinterest. I decided to make my dream vacation to Brazil because I’ve always heard that it’s beautiful. I think that this trip would definitely be possible for me one day. My husband, El Jota, also loves to travel and would love the nightlife that’s present in Brazil. And Brazil has everything that I love to: beaches, shopping hiking, native culture, etc.
A couple different things are required to make this become a reality. First off, is money, but that’s not really a problem for Jota and I…our last name is Dinero. Another thing necessary, however, is a passport and a visa. This isn’t a big obstacle either because I already have my passport and still have lots of time left on it. Some things that aren’t exactly required but are strongly recommended include vaccinations, knowledge of a different language, and Brazilian Real.
There are 3 recommended vaccinations. They are for Yellow Fever, Malaria, and Typhoid.
It would be very helpful to have a basic understanding of Portuguese, however, is not necessary since most of the people there have a basic understanding of English. Or it wouldn’t be very hard to find someone who did.
The Brazilian Real is their form of currency. This isn’t too complicated to get and is available at currency exchanges. It’s just a matter of getting it done.

A lot of things that I pinned have not only have amazing recommended places to go, but travel tips specifically to Brazil. This was so helpful!! I really hope that this Dream Vacation can one day become a reality.

I actually created two boards. One is specific to this Brazil trip and the other is a general travel board encompassing tips on flights, safety, packing, and how to plan.

For one of the assignments of this week, I chose to do Character Resume(3 points) for John Brown. This assignment is to create a resume by using either Microsoft Word, creating your own webpage, or using a website like LinkedIn.

I chose to use Microsoft Word to write John Brown’s resume.

For one of my assignments this week, I chose to do the assignment Create Your Dream Vacation on Pinterest, that was submitted by Haley Eckhardt.

The assignment is to,” Create A Pinterest Board Of Your Dream Vacation This is an assignment for dreamers! If you don’t already have a Pinterest account, create one! Next, take a moment and contemplate where you would want to go. A vacation does not necessarily mean you have to select one place to travel to. It can involve a variety of locations. Start off by creating a “board” for your dream vacation. All you have to do to create your board is click the “create a board” option on your main profile page. You could title it “My Dream Vacation,” like I did, or come up with something more personalized. You can select a category, such as “travel,” if you want, but neither a category, nor a description, are necessary to continue. Next, try plugging keywords into the search box on Pinterest for cities, countries, specific landmarks, attractions, etc. and “pin” your favorite images/travel blog links/recipes/etc. onto your new board! To pin, hover your mouse over the image and a red “Pin it” button will pop up in the top left corner. Go ahead and click on it. **The purpose of these pins is to give Pinterest subscribers access to a variety of recipes, photography, travel guides, blogs, literally EVERYTHING digital. Next, Pinterest will ask you which board you would like to pin it to. Make sure you select the board you created for this assignment. You can either keep the description the pin came with, or create your own! Completely up to you. And lastly, just click the red button again, and you will have successfully added your first pin! It’s up to you what you want to write about, but some ideas would be:

I have an obsession with Pinterest, I love Pinterest. I have over 10,000 pins. When I saw that there was an assignment having to do with Pinterest, I quickly got started. I also LOVE vacations, especially planning them. I am so glad that Haley E. submitted this assignment. It has been a dream of mine to go to Bora Bora, Tahiti. I absolutely LOVE tropical vacations. Bora Bora is exceptionally gorgeous. The water is perfect and everything is beautiful.

I hope that this trip is possible in the future because Bora Bora is truly unbelievable. Maybe my next big family vacation can be in Bora Bora since my parents would like to go somewhere tropical. Who knows!?! A lot of things would be required for this vacation to actually happen. First of all, I would need the money. I did find a couple of articles on Pinterest how to save money on your Bora Bora trip!

I would also need time off from school or my job. I would have to work a lot in order to save up enough days for this to happen. Saving money for this trip is a must. Awesome packing tips for this trip are also necessary! I found a few tips on Pinterest!

For one of my assignments this week, I decided to do the assignment, You’re a Pinteresting Character, that was submitted by Brooke P.

The assignment is to, “Build a Pinterest page of at least 20 pins for a character of your choice. Search for pins that relate to your character and things that he or she would want to pin for themselves. Bonus points if you build a page and have visitors to your blog guess which character you picked!” This assignment is worth 2 points.

I was super excited to do this assignment because I am obsessed with Pinterest. It’s bad! I have SO many pins! I knew I would have fun with this one, so I started by logging onto Pinterest.

I had a TON of fun finding things that I loved! This wasn’t too hard because I am obsessed with a lot!
