The steps for this assignment consist of creating your ideal version of yourself on Pinterest. Find your interests, and aspirations on the application and create several boards. This can involve ideal style, home, faith, diet, etc. Link your Pinterest and provide a quick description of why you have chosen. This should be detailed and should be descriptive.
Create a digital collage with a combination of images, and personal photos. The objective of this assignment is to create a story within the photos by assembling various images into a cohesive design. Write a short reflection on how the different media convey a message. How does combining seemingly unrelated images create new context?
Canada experiences four distinct seasons – spring, summer, fall (autumn), and winter – due to its geographical location and large landmass. Here are some reasons why the four seasons are so cool in Canada. As a geography teacher, I love teaching about the geographical extent, latitude, continental climate, influence of oceans, polar jet streams, hemispheres etc… This visual assignment is a powerful way to demonstrate the 4 seasons.

Create some sort of graphic. Design the overall graphic to convey some sort of feeling or theme, but then have text saying something completely contradictory to the theme or feeling. Sort of like one of those old anti-motivational posters, but with more design than a black box with a white frame.”
Find or take a pretty photo that would work well for a poster. Bring it into Adobe Illustrator and make it into an image trace- I used low fidelty photo. Next, bring the photo into Adobe Photoshop and make any changes or add any missing elements- I painted a large sky using a gradient and low opacity brush to make it a poster size rather than square. Finally, add some text with city name or nickname- I added some fog on top cause it’s San Francisco and I also erased the bottom of some of the letters to make it look like the letters were sitting inside the city limits rather than floating on top.
Combine two or more photos In a multi-image spread. Using Adobe illustrator or comparable, make the images into a graphic- I used the image trace 16 colors On Illustrator. Next I made the image trace a live paint to correct any mis colored regions. Add the locations of the photos.
