Between the Black Widow Bar and Black Widow Agency, I’m not in any need for a new job. Still, it’s always good to keep your resume updated and ready! I recently checked out mine to make sure everything was still up to date. Here it is, My Resume!
I made mine by choosing a theme on Word and just adding in the necessary and advised info. It’s very simple.
Maybe one day in the future I’ll actually get around to making a LinkedIn
This is for the “Character Resume” web assignment. Sardic has a rather specific set of skills and experience, and it shows in his resume. Needless to say, he’s a bit of an HR nightmare. His experience makes him look like a thug, his skills could only be used for investigation or less scrupulous lines of work, and half his contacts are aren’t even from this dimension. I had fun with his resume, between the noir theme and the multiverse setting, I pretty much got to have free reign on what I wanted to put on there. This is for the “storytelling within the web” web assignment. This was a really cool prompt for a web assignment; it lets you do pretty much anything you want to any site. Of course I wanted to relate this to Jim Sardic and his version of New York, so I went to a trip adviser page for attractions in New York. I used x-ray goggles, the extension for firefox, to edit the html on the page. It was cool changing around things on the site, the extension was extremely intuitive. You can just click on any portion of the page, and the highlighted code block will come up to let you change anything you want. I didn’t go too crazy with it, changing links to other pages. I mostly changed the text on the page to make sense with Sardic’s universe. Here’s a link to the new version of the site I made.

I also made time to create a logo from Aconitum.Napellus this week. I drew inspiration from a ds106 design assignment, The Ultimate Merger (which is rated at 4.5 stars). I chose to use Fisher Scientific’s logo set up, seen below:
I mimicked the fonts and colors to create my own logo for Aconitum.Napellus. All work was done in a word document so that I could compare the sizes and styles of the fonts as well as have proper alignment. The final image was saved as a screenshot. I plan to use this image throughout my webpage, and it is currently featured on The Mission Statement page.
The real inspiration for my agency came from the trip I took with Eden Waz. I decided this was a key point to and deserved a page on my agency’s webpage. I also saw that this fit with an a web assignment, How It All Began, which is rated at 3 stars. I could go on about how it all started, but I think the description on my webpage will fill you in well enough.
I decided to add my resume to my webpage. It can be found under the staff page. I drew inspiration to upload my resume from the ds106 web assignment: character resume (which is rated at 3 stars). The resume is really rather self-explanatory. It describes my previous work and education experience. I’ve mostly worked in industry. For a couple years I chose to teach high school which turned out to be a horrible decision which is why I only taught for two years. My education is not as extensive as I wish it could be but my years of experience in the science industry make up for that.

I have arranged a Pinit lest of places I want to go to. I have been so far to few and my next stop this summer will be New Zealand!
Since summer is on the way, and I know all my fellow DS106 need a brake from a long semester. I have arranged for you some places that you MUST visit.
First Ask yourself, Have I been to Europe? Have I been to France? Have I been to New Zealand? Have I been to Canada? Have I been to Jordan? Have I been to Hawaii?
If you have answered any of these questions with no, you MUST check my pint it site! I have a tour guide in places that are very unique and they are must visit places!
What is awesome about these places you get to learn new cultures and languages! You will enjoy trying different food. and walk around very amazing views!
But before you pick any, remember, you have to make this your dream trip! Go with your best friend or your partner and enjoy every second of it. You should also keep in mind nothing is impossible and you can do and go where ever you want! You shouldn’t overwhelm yourself with expenses pick the places you can afford going to!
If you have only 1 week of vexation and you don’t have enough time to issue your visa, I have got you covered. I have few places that are must visit in the United states! Pick your favorite places and live the moment! Don’t let anything stop you, Life is too short to wait!

Who do you really think you are or do you know most? It shouldn’t take you long to accomplish this short quiz and see which one of us mysterious four women you could be similar too ;).
I did this on buzzfeed.com and then I went to Personality Quiz and created it on there. I made 6 questions and had three or four answers for each question to go with each member of our group. Once I thought of all the questions I went through and added pictures for each answer and question to give you a visual of them. Once I had all the questions and answers with pictures I saved and published it. If you want to take our quiz go ahead and click the link at the bottom, you won’t regret it!

I’ve been getting really into social media since starting this company with Bev. I decided that it would be cool to showcase the development of our company through a storify post. Bev was little hesitant at first because she’s always a little concerned about things she doesn’t understand/have full control over, but I insisted that it would be a great way to document the origins of our company and also reach more customers.
We compiled our storify by pulling together tweets and pictures that showed the beginning of our company. I urged Bev to continually tweet while we were getting started, which I think she is adjusting to. We then worked together to select the best tweets that show the strongest aspects of our company, we inserted them into a storify, published, and shared.
