So Bev and I collaborated on this pinterest board as a way to showcase our company and broaden our customer base. I thought it was a pretty good idea, so I decided to follow Bev’s lead on this. We worked together to pull a bunch of different pictures and ideas to curate the board, which was simple enough. Yes, yes, I continued to struggle with building a board, but luckily Bev’s a great partner and showed me. I brought some cool ideas to the table and she really helped me execute them, which made the finished project so great considering our collaboration here. 

So there was this web assignment entitled Buzzfeed Personality Quiz worth 3 stars.

The task?

Have you taken one of those fun personality quizzes on Buzzfeed? Now make your own! Sign in with Buzzfeed to create a community account (you can use gmail). Then start making a quiz for people to find out which character they are. Use any characters you like. There must be at least 3 results with descriptions and at least 6 questions. Be sure to include photographs as well. Once you have made the page publish it and share.

Well. Lucky for me, I was able to make one about my co-workers in the Agency. I titled my Quiz: Which Member of No Stain No Problem Should Clean Up Your Mess. We all have different specialties, so depending on your lifestyle, and what you need us to clean, you will get a different answer. Also, you should be 100% honest because otherwise you WILL NOT get accurate results.

Anyway, I created a buzzfeed account using my gmail, and started making the quiz. I made each question, and then gave 5 answers, one that matched to each member of NSNP. I made 10 questions that I thought would accurately help us gage what type of cleaning expertise you may need. I also wanted to match you up personality wise, because that obviously makes it more fun. After I finished all of the questions, I added pictures to the ones that I felt could use a little sprucing up. This took me about an hour to do, especially because I couldn’t get it to work on chrome and I had to switch to safari. Once I did that, it was smooth sailing.

Anyway, you should consider taking our quiz…and by should consider I mean YOU HAVE TO BECAUSE I SAID SO. Either me, (Blair), Stella, Mick, Billy or Jack will be the right fit for you. We’re all good at cleaning, and drinking.

Look who I got!!!!

So, Bev sent me this assignment earlier to create and upload my resume. I guess she’s decided I need some qualifications in order to work for our new company. I guess I could have fluffed it up a bit, but I think honesty is the best policy, so I just wrote what was true.

I’m assuming this will suffice, considering Bev has already hired me. I’m pretty sure she’s only asking for HR reasons, but I must say I really was surprised by my skills and experience after I started to write them out all out. 

It was pretty easy to create this. I wrote it up and then played with font and design in order to make it as aesthetically pleasing as possible (something I tend to strive for as an artist). I then converted it into a PDF so that I could grab a picture of it and then upload here for our files. 

I did the assignment, How it all began (3 stars). I thought it was a perfect assignment for expanding upon The Winter Association. It can be found here.

I had to choose a color and then take 20 minute walk in which I take a 5-8 pictures of the color as I encounter it and then upload the photos to Flickr and create a time line using TimeLine JS.

This was pretty straight forward. I uploaded all of my pics to my Flickr account and then followed the directions on how to create the JS timeline! It took some time so I would recommend setting a couple of hours aside for this assignment!

I decided to complete this assignment because I love to travel and I love Pinterest! This assignment is called “Create Your Dream Vacation On Pinterest!” and it’s worth 3 stars. The details of the assignment can be found here.

This was easy for me to do since I am so well-versed in Pinterest. I decided to make my dream vacation to Brazil because I’ve always heard that it’s beautiful. I think that this trip would definitely be possible for me one day. My husband, El Jota, also loves to travel and would love the nightlife that’s present in Brazil. And Brazil has everything that I love to: beaches, shopping hiking, native culture, etc.
A couple different things are required to make this become a reality. First off, is money, but that’s not really a problem for Jota and I…our last name is Dinero. Another thing necessary, however, is a passport and a visa. This isn’t a big obstacle either because I already have my passport and still have lots of time left on it. Some things that aren’t exactly required but are strongly recommended include vaccinations, knowledge of a different language, and Brazilian Real.
There are 3 recommended vaccinations. They are for Yellow Fever, Malaria, and Typhoid.
It would be very helpful to have a basic understanding of Portuguese, however, is not necessary since most of the people there have a basic understanding of English. Or it wouldn’t be very hard to find someone who did.
The Brazilian Real is their form of currency. This isn’t too complicated to get and is available at currency exchanges. It’s just a matter of getting it done.

A lot of things that I pinned have not only have amazing recommended places to go, but travel tips specifically to Brazil. This was so helpful!! I really hope that this Dream Vacation can one day become a reality.

I actually created two boards. One is specific to this Brazil trip and the other is a general travel board encompassing tips on flights, safety, packing, and how to plan.
