This assignment was fun and easy. The assignment called You’re A Pinteresting Character (2 points), was to build a Pinterest page of at least 20 pins for a character of mine. I really enjoyed to creating John Brown’s Pinterest board. It was my first time using it so I had fun time of learning it and activate the board.

When I first got into Pinterest website, I had to register for it in order to start. So I put John Brown’s Gmail, that I created few weeks ago, and put informations about him, such as name, age and gender. And then next step was choosing at least five followers that things that are I interest about. I chose desserts, gluten free, beards, sandwiches, Men’s suit, Luxury cars, and Men’s Appeals, the things that John would interest.

After that, I created a board to choose at least 20 pins that are related to John and what would John likes.

For this assignment I had to use the tool “Storify” to assemble text and elements from social media. I used pictures form other people’s websites to create this post. This is Headline Crime’s first report, it shows some of the upcoming agencies and the type of thing we will be reporting on. I’m sure there will be more to come from these, and many more agencies, we will be keeping a close eye on them.

This is something I show to clients to help them decide where they could make their noir escape. There are a variety of locations to choose from and this gives the clients many options. I’ve had clients who have chosen tropical locations and some who would rather bundle up and choose an arctic region. This Pin board provides various examples of places they can travel to. The population size is a factor they can consider in choosing a location; some may want a city live with vast amounts of people and others may want a more secluded, quiet area. We detail this information to our clients as well as the kinds of activities one can do in the locations they are interested in. The amazing thing about this agency is that the possibilities of travel locations are endless and we can help you travel to as many as needed with ease. I chose appealing photos since clients would be more inclined to chose a certain location based on the visuals that are presented to them.

Here is a search engine that Janelle created for the House of Noir group, which incorporated the font of the classic film series “The Godfather.” The choice of this font reflects how the House of Noir is full of suspenseful twists and turns; we like to think that we lead life with eccentricity and excitement. Although we are not a part of a family mob, we certainly are a group that will not be forgotten.

With this app, my colleague Janelle was able to illustrate the story of the House of Noir group. She found a photo of each of the members to give the viewers a visual of who was a part of the House of Noir agency. Also, she presented photos of the general places we come from. For example, I am from the thriving city of San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge was shown for this. She used this description on the second page of this Steller story:

For this assignment I had to use the app “Steller” to make a story that includes pictures. I told a story that advertises “Headline Crime,” our news agency. It shows more of what the agency does.  I chose a black and white theme to go along with noir and combined pictures and text to tell the story. Criminals beware, no one escapes the headlines.

Finally got on the boat and made a Pinterest this week! (2 stars) I can’t believe how much I love it! There’s so many great ideas for my bar and so many cute little kitties who remind me of Onyx! Check out my page here: Pinterest

It was so easy too! I just put in my email and made up a password. Then I looked up some stuff I think is cool or useful and clicked it. It just added it for me

Welp. Another assignment. This is a web assignment entitled You’re a Pinteresting Character.

The Task: Build a Pinterest page of at least 20 pins for a character of your choice. Search for pins that relate to your character and things that he or she would want to pin for themselves.

Welp. I made a pinterest accound. That was the first step. You can follow me if you want: Blairmorgan106.

The next thing I did was create a “board.” For those of you who are not pinterest savvy, that is where you can “pin” or post things that interest you. I decided to name my board NSNP (No Stain No Problem) because I needed a space where I could pin things that related to this stupid agency. Yep. This is my job. Pinning things on the internet. Do you think it pays for 5 kids with 1 on the way? Mick better step his game up if we’re ever gonna survive. We can buy groceries from bed..but we can’t really pay for them.
Anyway, back on track. I searched for things that would be great in our office. A lot of what I pinned had to do with cleaning supplies, since we are a cleaning agency. I also pinned some organization ideas because everyone in our group who cannot birth children seem to not know how to stay on track/be organized about anything. Lastly, I pinned some crime scene pictures, and some crime scene instances because I’ve learned all of my cleaning expertise from working in the Crime Scene Unit. You can learn a lot about how to remove blood from just about anything. Lastly, I pinned some whiskey drinks cause I know the boys will love me even more than they do if I bring them drinks.

It was really easy to pin. I spent hours just browsing. It is amazing what the internet holds. I did get off track looking at food and alcohol. I think I am going to have to start a board on just food and just alcohol.

Character Resume (3 Stars)

I decided to spend this morning updating my resume, so that I can use it to help create my bio on the staff page of our agency.

I found a template online and inserted my own information into it. I have really only been employed at three places for my entire life, but I am relatively young so I guess that is expected. I thought it was pertinent to list all of my skills, because you never know what skill could be important when you are a private investigator. At times I found it difficult to remember everything that I have done over the years so that was a challenge, but once I remembered it was easy to type up. The online template sometimes became frustrating with formatting, but I was always able to get it to work and look nice eventually. I think that make this resume will make writing my bio for our webpage significantly easier now.
