For this assignment (worth three stars), we had to create a video of a few of our favorite actor’s best scenes.

Queen Latifa is my (Ami’s) favorite actress. She portrays a wide variety of characters, but always a strong woman who loves herself. I wish there were more roles created for skilled, adaptable black actresses.

To create this, I found clips from various movies on Youtube and compiled them into an iMovie.

For this assignment (worth 5 stars), I made a highlight reel of Odell Beckham Jr., my (Ami speaking) favorite football player. I found clips online and compiled them into a video, finally adding Power by Kanye West as the music.

The Giants are my team. I don’t indulge in things like organized sports often, but when I do, it’s because of Odell. There’s always room to praise the most talented and spirited wide receiver in the NFL. Kanye is a perfect parallel as they both excel in their respective fields.

I did this by recording myself in two different outfits on IMovie. After I got the recordings I put them together to flow together and make a conversation .

I did this assignment because who doesn’t want to have a conversation with themselves? I mean come on but I was having a discussion about the latest lose in my life with my second husband passing away. When are they going to learn? Thats all i want to know, well i guess I won’t know anytime soon. Oh well. I guess I am not called the Black Widow for no reason..

Sardic stood in the middle aged woman’s living room.  She was rummaging around in her attic, looking for a box of her daughter’s old things.  Another disappearance.  He was here to interview her and see what he could find about the daughter.  He noticed the tv was on.  It was on some american channel that was porting that british show, Black Mirror.  A man was giving an impassioned speech about people being too absorbed in their technologies and fabricated realities.  It was all commentary, and Sardic couldn’t help but agree with a lot of it.  The shame of it was the speech was being censored for profanities.  It felt wrong to him, but that’s just classic american tv for you.  The woman came down the stairs, struggling with an oversized box.  Jim turned away from the tv to help her.  There was work to do.

Everyone has their own little voice in their head that motivates them or un-motivates them. It’s why some people are more productive than others. This is what a typical day at work in my head sounds like. I have to keep pushing forward. And more importantly remember why. The voice in my head that motivates me is in green, while my actual self is in the lab coat. I edited these two parts of me to share with you in iMovie and added effects to make a clear distinction. This assignment was for me to tell a story through flashcards, http://assignments.ds106.us/assignments/this-is-my-story/. For this assignment I wanted to tell my story about how I get what I always want. Yes, it might have been in the expense of my first husband but I got what I wanted at the end of the day. Let’s just say that this was the day that started my reputation for the rest of my life. I do not regret a thing that happened that day because it changed my life and it was for the better. Lesson learned that day: Do not cross the Black Widow or you will get bitten  Movie on 3-29-15 at 9.25 PM

This assignment was done on PhotoBooth on my computer as well, all I did was go to the effects button and find black and white. I felt like black and white gave it more of the feeling it makes you have. Once I found my effect I just recorded myself and there you go you have my story! 

For one of my assignments this week, I chose to do the assignment, This is my story, that was submitted by Seong Cho.

The assignment is to, “Tell a short story using flashcard and record yourself. It can be something funny, sad, or just even express how your day was.” This assignment is worth 3 points.

I chose to do this assignment so that you all could learn a bit more about Mayfield’s. I don’t know why the words aren’t flipped, technical difficulties. Once I recorded it, I uploaded it to vimeo. Enjoy!

This assignment was to create a video to describe who someones is using any thing. I used pictures and music to describe my character, Conway. I used movie maker to create this video. All of the pictures are personal photos but the go really well with I created my character to be and what he enjoys in his free time.
